I have decided that i want to give people a chance for writing lemons. in 2011, i'm going to make it 3 lemon challenges, that's it. a tri-annual lemon challenge so that people have a lot of time to work on it. I'm glad it caught your eye, r0o - this one was a concept piece all the way. Actually, more like a guinea pig piece - I wanted to see if I could manage something in Poe's style without ruining it, and I guess I did alright. But I sure hate writing dark and angsty for this pairing, I much prefer the happy ending. But with a title like that - The Fall of the House of Taisho, and being based off of Poe, it just couldn't have that happy ending. I tell ya, though, after finishing it, I had to go read a bunch of cavity-inducing happy-ending Sess/Kag fluff! Much happier now, lol!

I only got the e-mail notification of your review just now, like hours and HOURS late. o.o So I actually stumbled on the fanart you did before I happened to read your review! I loved the picture though, you really captured Kagome's feelings there.
I'm sorry to hear you cried. *offers a tissue* Though at the same time I have to say it makes me feel just a bit smug. Being told something I wrote has moved the reader is like the greatest compliment to me.

And you are right, Kagome is not going to be herself. Hardships force us to grow or perish, and everything she's been through so far and WILL go through in the chapters yet to come, will turn her from a teenage girl to a woman. Still, it's not like she is vanishing, as much as she's changing shape. The "old" Kagome will still be there, always. It might be that she won't fully recognise her old self anymore, but that doesn't mean that she becomes and entirely diffrent person. Growing and maturing always shapes one.

You said at the end of your review that you had no idea that it would be so amazing when you started. Frankly, neither did I. Because to me, the story is always alive. :3

Okay.. feels stupid. I should have been a little clearer on that last chapter of Windows on the West - it wasn't Kagome's father, it was Rin's. That's why I called him the wards father - that is how he refers to Rin. Kagome is something else altogether, lol. Anyways, glad you enjoyed it, though!

Okay, here's a one for all response to r0o reviews! I'm always happy to see a review from you - they always make me smile! As for your comment on Windows on the West, about a picture? I think I'm gonna use that idea... maybe mention in another chapter that she's looking at that picture. In fact... that would be a great way to end the series, I think - since he's let the ruins of the palace stand as a testament to the folly of his father's love for his mistress Izayoi, he could finally finish destroying the ruins to show Kagome that he no longer sees love as a foolish thing or some such. Then the only reminder of its existence would be the photograph. Cool!

Feedback from sugar0o who lurks: :3 awes~! AWESOME! i do think it would be kinda awesome. b/c we tend to destroy things in the moment, and then wish for a memorial later. Her having a pic even if only as a visual reminder of the folly, or even the grandeur in the ruins. Something that was lost to time, and the only proof is that single pic. its kinda poetic in a way ^_^ *is pleased* and i cant wait for more as always!

Heh, I actually noticed the SUPERWALLOFTEXT myself, but thought it wouldn't matter too much - after all, for once I was actually using the "normal" description to move the story forward in stead of just relying on the dialogue.

I suppose Kagome utterly snapping would be something way awesome, but it doesn't sit too well with my current plans. With the latest chapter I laid the groundwork for Kagome's development towards a more mature self. But I suppose I could have her standing up against Kimiko in that one particular installment... *plots*

You'll have to wait and see, I suppose! x3

You know, it's funny - I have such a hard time writing Sess/Kag one shots, and yet I can write Inu/Kags one shots til the day is long. I seem to do better with Sess/Kag chapter fics... I wonder why...
