The Hime Tradition....
Ryou though knew he would be unable to save Kura. When he was visiting her in the dungeon they both knew that because of her actions they would only have that one night to see and be with each other. True, Kura was acting out on wrong impressions, jealousy, and had a hardened heart.....but regardless of the why she still attacked not only a pack member of the West, but the MATE to be of the West. If Kura's brother had even attempted to stop the punishment or defend his sister, I am sure Sesshomaru would have declared war on her people too. Yes in the end she told Sesshomaru how to end the curse but I think if Ryou hadn't gotten hurt, Kura may have withheld the answer until it was too late.

Every action has a reaction. Every decision has a consequence.
I think even Inuyasha is doubting Kagome's penchant for understanding and loving and forgiveness. True while she may have a hard time "forgiving" Sesshomaru, I don't think it's impossible.

Could Kagome punish Sesshomaru just because he defended her and ensured the one that hurt her is dead? the last time Sesshomaru showed mercy, kagome nearly died.
BUT that is just what I think ^^

I thought it was hilarious that everyone didn't like Naoko when I first introduced her. And then I go, 'Naoko Higurashi' and they all go, 'Ahhh, okay well, we like her now...'

Well, I may have better 'painting a picture' writing skills, but you definitely have more creative ideas and plot twists that you can totally trace back to the beginning of the fiction.
But I think that the fact I consider your writing better than mine and vice versa is funny!
You know, I had to watch Inuyasha Movie three like over and over again (I could only get it in dubbed. It was AWFUL) but did you know.... THAT TOGA IS TANNED. I mean, really!!! Plus, that literally was the only stuff I had to work with him on, plus his desire to teach his sons. I'm so glad his personality turned out well!
