I'm so sorry I've been replying slowly as of since yesterday, because work is murdering me. Yes. The word is not 'kill'...it is 'murder' because I seriously think my assignments are plotting with each other to come up with the best way to murder this poor girl here. HAHA. I HATE THEM. But I have 6 deadlines in 3 weeks, and I kinda figured that since I am graduating in less than 2 months' time, I might as well work a little harder so as not to regret later. HAHAHA. Sucks to be a student at a grand old age.

LOL my sweetie the Macau Pork Bun was super fantastic!!! The bread was toasted to a stage of crisp perfection with such amazing softness deep within. I was overwhelmed with my first bite of it; such good stuff do exist! You should really go on a food trip in HongKong and Macau!! Honestly, I got a little lost in translation since the people in HongKong speak Cantonese (which is a Chinese dialect) and I speak English, Chinese, Japanese, tiny sprinkling of French and EVEN tinier sprinkling of Cantonese. HAHAHA. So imagine my horror as I politely ask something simple in Cantonese like, "How much is this?" And they thought I was a native (JUDGING FROM ONE LINE, HELLO??) since Asian people generally look the same AND BLASTED ME WITH A STRING OF RAPID CANTONESE. So there were a lot of "HUH??"-awkward moments and I kinda had to wave my poor Dad over to help me with translation. (he grew up speaking the dialect at home - the older generation in Singapore do) As we once agreed on, we star-crossed lovers (LOL!!) are essentially rootless. I am an Englishy Chinese and you're an Englishy French/Quebecois. OH. Speaking of that, I know a friend who came from Quebec too! His name is Alain Richard, if you happen to know him, that is. He is 25 this year, I believe, and I got to know him from my Kobe university of foreign studies summer school program in Japan last August. He would try to speak to me in his WOAH French and I would smile at him blankly. HAHAHA. and it would return to English.

ok let me now tell you something COINCIDENTAL. Be surprised, my dear, because OMG CAN U BELIEVE IT I AM 5"4 AND AROUND 110lbs (USED TO BE LESS BUT SADLY) AS WELL. AS IN SERIOUSLY. NO KIDDING. (Like, OMG my true love pairing!!!) LOL. But the big difference there is while you, darling, are considered tiny in where you are, I am considered tall for my height in Singapore!! HAHA. In an Asian setting, I guess, as compared to a Caucasian setting My height falls into around the 75 percentile of the population, which makes me fairly tall among some of my tiny friends here. The average height would be 5"2 over here. LOL you must be a really pretty and adorable doll I cannot drink too much as well, which is why you won't ever see pictures of me getting drunk. HAHA aww dearie it's really better not to drink eh? Think of what it does to the liver! Milk over beer anytime!!

My ex's mother was under the impression that I was snatching her son away from her, but while I was mad at her for thinking so ridiculously, I figured I shouldn't blame her because she is clinically depressed. She's really ill and on medication too, so who am I to blame her? So...yupp. It's sad, but I am fully over it now! Unfortunately, my ex and I are no longer talking because it just became too weird and he found it very hard to face me. It's really time to move on! HAHA see what I said about you being an amazing girlfriend?? It's so nice of you to drive all the way just to pass him something!! I understand about being loving and having horrible fights at the same time. It sucks, seriously, but the truth is, that's what makes a relationship real and strong! Can you imagine being all fluffy and loving ALL THE TIME?? Isn't that...unbelievable?? Your emotional dependence on him is perfectly normal - it's not because you are clingy or overly-emotional or whatsoever. It's 5 years for goodness' sake...if you're not mutually emotionally dependent there really has to be something wrong with you So it's perfectly natural to fight and feel upset at times, because it is just part and parcel of it.

I can share my experiences with you, if you don't mind reading about my sob story that is. I broke up with my ex-boyfriend of 1 year, 7 months in December 2008, and it was because of his mom. His mom was clinically depressed and she would be so possessive of her precious son, to the extent when she would call/text message him on his cell phone up to 30 times a night. It was quite tough really, especially when she gave him a curfew (12am) when he was a grownup at 24 years old. Terrible, isn't it? But that was how it was. Between him and I, things were going fantastically. We never fought, not even once. And I realized that was bad because the relatonship had no firm foundation to it. It was shaky and built on nothing, so when opposing pressures came in, everything just came crashing down and this weak relationship could not survive it. So, the main point is, I am not advocating quarreling or fighting, but just that it is actually good in a strange, quirky sense.

On a lighter note, HAHA no way!! I refuse to believe boys hate you. HAHA impossible, seriously! Maybe that was when they were still young (15??) and that's the age when they are childish and stinky. LOL. Though now even in their twenties some of them are still childish and stinky, I think. Ohh my sushi darling, if I were male and knew you in person I'd definitely ask you out!! LOL. Speaking of the guy in the US, he is a Japanese guy whom I got to know 8 years ago when we were 15 on a study exchange program. I went over to Japan for awhile, and he came over to Singapore as well. So we kinda kept in contact the entire time, and when I was 17, he came over to Singapore to visit me. Then I got a Minnie Mouse plushie from him (LOL!! Japanese guys are damn cute, seriously) and from then he kinda made his feelings known. But then he went to the US for his university education at Iowa University, so it's really long-distance and meaningless to begin anything. He would be coming over to Singapore at the end of 2010 to visit me though. But as of now we are merely friends

Here's in response to your lovely review of The Third Parties! Awww dearie, thank you for those amazing words of encouragement! Seriously, I have seen horrible cases of relationships and that was where I got the inspiration for this story. What I was trying to portray (and you got it perfectly right) was how sometimes relationship matters are always out of control and no one is really right or wrong. I found myself feeling extremely sorry for Kaguya, who is such a nice girl but ends up being victimized by circumstances. And Sesshoumaru too, who is always being the knight in shining armor who got stabbed in the end. I love writing this story; it always makes me think. I will work on it soon enough! Approximately five more chapters to go, I think
