You're right; I sat down and gave it some serious thought and I decided I really DO NOT WANT a job that tries to control my thinking. If I have to lose my personality for a job, that would be tragic, wouldn't it? I cannot imagine becoming some mindless robot, and I will definitely bear your words in mind. Life's hard, but to compromise and settle for less will make life even harder.

I definitely felt disappointed, more because I'd rather I reject them than they reject me, but oh well...life doesn't always work out the way we would prefer it to. Thank you so much for being so encouraging and supportive of me; I appreciate it greatly. I have no idea where I did wrong, because everyone in the program thought I had a good chance. I'd hate to compare and be a hypocrite, but some of those who got chosen were...well...rather nerdy and quiet. There was this girl who actually stammered when she had to present her discussion topic, and I never expected them to choose someone with some confidence issues. But she was chosen, and I wasn't, and I don't know what to feel about that. I confided in one of my best friends about this, and she told me not to feel bad, because maybe what they wanted were people who could be more easily molded in terms of thinking to suit their company. In her words, I was a girl with a mind and a voice, and it will be harder for the company to have me work as a store manager under them since I am more opinionated and strong-willed. They don't need that, hence they don't need me.

Thank you for believing in me when I could not believe in myself; I was terribly upset and felt so unsure of myself for a good three hours, but I definitely got over it and emerged stronger! Thank you, love!! I cannot believe how down I was feeling, I am sure everyone has their down moments, but I really felt I was a failure. I thought to myself how I have barely achieved anything. I just graduated, but I have no job, no concrete vision of the future, no boyfriend (LOL! I actually, really, really thought of that) and I wondered just how unaccomplished I am. I couldn't even take the easy way out and say, "Oh, I should just get married and be a happy housewife." because I don't even have a man who is willing to marry me. LOL. How crazy I must have sounded then, but oh well, I really felt unaccomplished. But that was then, I am fine now *HUGGGGGGS* I love you lots too!!

Oh gosh, darling...that review you received...it just left me speechless. It is almost vicious, oh my god. I think that while the person's personal views on the topic of rape should be respected, he/she should never have criticized you. Using words like "aren't you ashamed" and "quite sick" is really uncalled for, and I believe that takes the review straight out of the category of constructive criticism and puts it directly in the 'flame' category. Cheer up my dear! Such people are not even worth attention; sometimes I feel a little shortchanged because they tend to forget fanfiction authors do not even make profit out of writing. It's merely a hobby, and if this person's hobby lies in criticizing another's hobby...well, I'd say, get a life. We are all ordinary people who simply take pleasure in writing for the fun of it. There's really no need for nastiness. Cheer up! You know I will always root for you no matter what.

Anyway, I heard about the earthquake in Canada!! Please tell me everything is alright. I have a good friend named John Graham in Canada as well, and he said it was actually pretty scary though he's unharmed. I hope everything is alright, sweetheart!

Speaking of my Japan trip...well, I am afraid I don't have good news to deliver. You see...I didn't get chosen for the program, which means I didn't pass the final interview. I have no idea why; all my fellow interviewees thought I had a very good chance because I supposedly "performed well" during the program, but in the end, I received the rejection email last night. I am feeling rather bummed about it, and I really felt very disappointed because I did my best. There was nothing I thought I screwed up or did badly, except for the one strange question during the interview. The interviewer asked me "Jasmine, you look very gentle and ladylike. This job requires a person who is very competitive and (I forgot what but it was somewhere along the lines of how one should not be gentle and too patient in the job) so do you think you can take this job up?" I was really quite appalled because I never knew that my image would be taken into consideration. It doesn't mean that I appear gentle so I am a pushover. But the two Japanese men didn't seem to think so. SAD FACE X 10000000000.

I have grumpy days when I snap at everyone too, so I can actually kinda understand how you are feeling. Especially during the time of the month...I morph into this class A bitch. LOL. You know you are one of my favorite authors, and I love the way Blood Stained is going, especially with Kouga's introduction into the story. He is a good guy in the story too, which makes the read even better. (I tend to be biased towards him because he is pretty hot) I appreciate the reviews you left for Happily Ever After and Once upon an Edo night as well; they made my day and left me smiling away at the computer screen like an idiot. Thank you for always being so supportive! Speaking of my smutty piece, I have just finished it. LOL. It is twice as long as the second chapter, so twice the dirtiness.

My trip definitely went well; as of now I am just awaiting reply from the company to see if I can will get chosen for the job. I am really nervous about it, because I don't know if I did well or not, and I hate the uncertainty of waiting. It really sucks But I met a pretty cute guy on the trip! He is a gym trainer so he was good eye candy.

How is the diet coming along? You seem to be well on your way to looking like a Victoria's Secret Model!! While dieting is good in some ways, take care of yourself and make sure to feed yourself enough dearie! But I am sure you are a sensible, lovely girl and you will definitely not overdo the dieting.
