Sesshoumaru and Kagome meet on an ocean liner and fall deeply in love. Though Sesshoumaru is engaged to someone else and Kagome has a steady boyfriend, they agree to meet six months later at the Empire State Building in New York if they still feel the same way about each other. But a tragic accident prevents their rendezvous, and the lovers' future takes an emotional and uncertain turn. This story closely follows one of my favorite movies of all time, "An Affair to Remember".
