AAAAAAAAA! Another review from you! I'm glad you like the new chapter: I'm steering the story to a romantic conclusion with an interesting plot twist before it ends. I ended the chapter where I did to restrict its length to around 7000 words, else the thing could have been 14,000 or more, if I went for as much detail with Sesshomaru/Sango as I did Sesshomaru/Kagome.

S t a s i s...it finally ends. Sesshoumaru's objective is for Kagome to become as obsessed as he is with her. So he wants her love and her hatred to be solely his that is why her love is never his objective because it won't be enough for him. He wants her to take him as more than a man, more than a monster. He wants to be her sole reason for living and dying. He wants to be her god in every meaning of the word as much as he wants to be her demon, absolutely consuming her every moment, her every thought whether awake or asleep, alive or dead. Because that is what Kagome is to him. He would not share her with anything or anyone, not even her family and most importantly not with her child thus the true reason why he won't let her keep the child because to keep it would mean to share. Her freedom in the past centuries is a lie, she knew that he knew her freedom to mingle is nothing more than a reminder of what she can never get. He wants Kagome, regardless in what form or way she ended up with him as long as she is his. This is a true obsession and possession. He does not care for others, like in his POV Abbandon, nothing else matters. Not power nor conquest, not wealth nor freedom. Not even his mother or his grandfather and their schemes nor his murdered heir. Like a true monster, he is completely Kagome's as much as he is hers. Except this line of thinking is only Sesshoumaru's and not Kagome's. The fear he felt back during Kagome's confrontation with the Shikon Jewel is the fear that she will choose to break the bond he created, that she will choose her freedom over him because Sesshoumaru does not fear death. That is why he is filled with triumph when he said she chose him, why he is elated when she said she dreamed of him. Kagome is his and his alone and he would not have it any other way...

Thank you for the depression inducing story, now I will go to my corner and wait for you to update the other favourite story of yours I am waiting. I hope it won't be as dark or depressing as this one. Keep on writing!!

Obsession is fun to write, perhaps too fun. Lol As for Sesshomaru's portrayal, I like to be versatile, so I usually change his character in different fics for variety. I gotta admit, I'm rather partial to this fwoom here, though.
