Such a lovely story. It played havoc on my heartstrings!
Wow this is so beautfiully written, heartbreakingly sad, but at the very end happy, everything came full circle. Again thank you for another wonderful story.
I would love to see more of this story PLEASE.
The simplicity of the writing is what makes it so sweet and wonderful, just perfect for a one-shot. Thank you for making the ending not a completely hopeless tragedy. At least, he got to hold her many more times before her time is due. That, or perhaps he would be adventurous enough to alter the past… and voila, happy ending!
What a sweet, erm, bittersweet piece. I love the simplicity of your chosen words, they emphazised their budding relationship so well. Great job as always!
One word : Beautiful. Im hoping for more but alas we can't always get what we wiah for.
Marie (Chapter 1) - Tue 17 Jun 2014
Absolutely wonderful. I was hoping you would write a happy one even if it is kinda sad. Happy/sad!. I take my hat off to you,
To use your last line, there are simply no words for this one-shot. I shall try though, because a one-shot like this deserves some words
It was beautiful, breathtaking, moving. The snippets in time, the fall, the winter, the spring, the summer, the fall, and the winter, they were wonderful. To see them progress from an accidental hold, to one on purpose, and then to see it taken from them. But I like how it ended on an upward note, though it still had a melancholly to it. He has found her again, can hold her again, but eventually she will have to return to the feudal era and eventually she will die, die in the arms of the past Sesshomaru. It's a vicious cycle really.
Thank you for sharing.
Sailor Moon new anime will premiere on July 5. This was lovely!
What Makes A Dad
God took the strength of a mountain, The majesty of a tree, The warmth of a summer run, The calm of a quiet sea, The generous soul of nature, The comforting arm of night, The wisdom of the ages, The power of the eagle's flight, The joy of a morning in spring, The faith of a mustard seed, The patience of eternity, The depth of a family need, Then God combined these qualities, When there was nothing more to add, He knew His masterpiece was complete, And so, He called it...Dad.
Happy Father's Day!
This was beautiful, Char. Short in words but brimming with emotions -- untold. XD
I love Sesshomaru's characterization here. It gives him an air of maturity without the cruel aspects of his personality. Indeed, it's unlike what I'm used to reading from you, but I very much loved it nonetheless. Kagome is so full of mischief! She flits around like a butterfly until she has him wrapped around her little finger. Bwahaha.
It was lovely and poignant, as sweet as it was bitter. :)
Thank you for participating in my challenge! The banneh is yours for the taking, rightfully so. XD
P.S. I, too, love that artwork!
