| I can't see Kagome wearing the ring. I believe she would keep it, probably in a box as a keep sake. Especially since it is so valuable, but actually wearing it would seem too much like she is waiting for him, and would probably be more depressing for her.
The ring definitely seems like something he would do. It's a way too keep her young longer so he has more time to convince her to be his mistress.
Anyway good chapter and I can't wait for the next.

Great chapter! I can't wait to read the next one. I love how you had Kagome explain that you can't always get what you want. She wanted to his wife and mate, have his children. Unfortunately for her he chose someone else for that, at least the wife and child part. She knows she deserves better than being a mistress (Whore) really. She has more self-respect than that.
