I can't begin to tell you how much I laughed in this chapter, and also how happy it made me. Kagome never gets to be normal, and it's good to know she finds the spot and appreciates it.

I can tell you'te a little out of practice with multi-POV. Everything was understandable and clear, though. The only part that seemed awkward to me was: "Mutely, he shook his head. Secretly thankful that Shippou..." That shift from Minoru to Kagome. At first, it seems like it's continuing with Minoru. Not sure how you would fix that.

Your POV is doing JUST FINE.  Relax.  Deep breathing.  And just let it flow.  And flow, it does!  I can hardly wait to see what happens when/if Minoru deigns to inform 'Yasha that his brother doesn't even KNOW.  That should be a good one... along with Kags and her undying compassion for those small & helpless, 'Yasha is about to find himself royally... well... screwed.  LMAO!

That was... actually a little disturbing. I guess the way Kagome went into Really Weird Thoughts about what she probably should not have seen of Inuyasha.

Loved how she broke the silence though. Priceless. The eagle's reaction to that should be epic.
