She had always been around him, as he had always been around her, yet they have never met for a second time. Neither knew that all they had to do was turn around, and fall in love. Ugh, I know right! Creepy sailor just trying to get a rise out of a couple of young women…. Shameful, really! I’m disappointed in you, Mr. Sailor Ghost! *wags finger*

I agree… I love creepy stories! Although they don’t always make sense to me. I’m a logical person, so sometimes they seem silly Don’t you wonder why the women would go staying in someone’s hose when they had blankets and could sleep in the car? Really.

Haha I used to live in a haunted house when I was little, before we moved to the res. Someone hanged themselves in a tree in the backyard and some creepy stuff went on there. We used to put out blessed spirit knots and such to keep them at bay. The day we moved out, my father took the key out of the lock for the last time and a scream came from the other side of the door. Freaky stuff. I’ve never directly met a spirit or ghost, but when I try to picture it, I can’t imagine what I would do! D:

I wouldn’t be able to go to school there and not be overly distracted! I’m brave? Pffft, you’re the brave one *huggles you for safety reasons*… I would love to hear your stories!... *hides under the covers*

Pshhhh, stop it! *blushes* You think so much of my little old self and I love it You’re the amazing one… you have no idea how I admire your talent! Your drawings are beautiful and your writing makes me fangasm! I LOVE IT! Aaaand *looks up* You’re so pretty! Unfair, much? I do believe so.

As far as pictures go, I don’t have an online portfolio. BUT you can check out the site for fashion week. They have pictures of the different looks and you can see the shows I worked at
Betsey Johnson:
http://www.mbfashionweek.com/newyork/spring2009/designers/betsey_johnson/index.html
and Alexandre Herchcovitch:
http://www.mbfashionweek.com/newyork/spring2009/designers/alexandre_herchcovitch/index.html

Overall, amazing experience. I’m so blessed to have been chosen to work it.

I would love to see the pictures! I won’t stalk you, I swear I don’t even have a Facebook… makes me feel old!

I could talk about cosmetics forever. Do you have a favorite brand or type of product? Lipstick junkie over here.

Wait. Did you just talk about me being multilingual? And culturally inquisitive? Silly MissTeak! You are much too humble! You are all of these wonderful things yourself!! *firm nod*

I’d never heard of Miranda Kerr before, but I looked her up when you mentioned her and ZOMG. She’s so beautiful! Her hair is certainly nice as well But, I promise, your hair is much better than you think. We ladies tend to see only the worst *sigh* It’s a difficult life!

Yeah, chongo style is pretty… ouch. The pain goes away once it’s done of course (unless you get headaches easily T.T), but it still stinks getting it done. Board hair is worse though: http://www.native-languages.org/hair2.jpg It's a Seminole style, done much like whorls. It's very rarely worn by anyone but very traditionally-minded elders these days.

I agree, Miss Navajo Nation is always gorgeous! I’m pretty sure the girl in the picture was a champion jingle dancer She might have been a Fancy Shawl dancer, but I’m not sure.

Oh! I was going to ask. I mentioned my brothers (I have five… Gah!) but do you have any siblings? I like to ask because family is so important

Okay, enough of the creepy stuff! Though I am rather intrigued by the detail of these superstitions! I never could have thought any of that up. I guess ALL of it must be true then...

Being scared FTW! >=3

WHOA WAIT. Exhuming bodies to build a school? I would hate to be the guy with that job. *shudder*

YEEEEE MissTeak's proud of me! I win! DD

Your hair certainly does not look flat, or thin. My long hair always gets in the way, but I just can't bring myself to chop it all off. But the thing is, I can't stand having my hair down. Having it touch the back of my neck just irritates me for some reason. So I tend to keep it up, especially since I can't have it down at work.

Chongo styles are usually called tsiiyeel or homsoma in Hopi and don't take too long to do. They're pretty difficult to do on your own, but it can be done They hurt like no other though. I can't tell you the stpes because it's sort of a sacred thing that has a special meaning not to be shared by anyone other than the elders, but I can tell you that the first step is to pull your hair back until your scalp screams for mercy. The next step is to twist until you can almost feel the hair ripping out.

Yeah. not fun. Here's a real picture, but it's not that great. You can see the yarn that is used to tie it though. This girl was Miss Navajo Nation in like 2008 or something:
http://www.native-languages.org/hair9.jpg

LOL Victoria Secret hair. They do have nice hair, don't they?

Oh! I may have to check that book out

Aaaah, I see. Nice way to turn that one around But now I see why I could always kick my brothers' butts from here to Kingdom Come. XD

Yes, I'm a makeup artist, but that's only on the side. I did do the makeup for a couple of shows during New York Fashion Week. I've done photo shoots and weddings and al the hooplah. It's funAre you a cosmetics fiend as well?

Malacca I will surely go one day. With all the food and stuffs. XD I'm in need of nyonya food.

Did anyone ever draw Sesshoumaru in kpop style? XD That will be a sight for sore eyes. I watch the cantonese version of inuyasha in animax channel. XD They have mandarin as well. Funny lah his voice. Especially when he growl and hiss at rin that time. XD Sounds like he was choking on a furball.

I have tons of idea which will be left in the bin in the end. I just don't have that much time to finish it.

What makes a good story is to mix all of the great story together and make it into one giant awesome story. XD Thats my two cents. I just hope that someone will write a Spirited Away type of fic for Sess and Kag. I will definitely read it. Put some drama and dilemma for them and it will be awesome. XD And the best part is the demon who was in charge of that place and imprisoning Sesshoumaru is a cat demoness. XD Oh the irony.

And then Inuyasha will be there trying to find a way to save his brother from the crutches of the cat. He wasn't allow to go near anyone so he have to hide around until he found Kagome and told her everything. Oh yeah... the plot thickens.

Then kagome will meet sango and miroku's descendant. XD She will meet someone who like sango but with the cursed hand of miroku and someone who look like miroku who have to put his sister in her place. XD

Thank you so much for being AWESOME. Your reviews always make me happy and yes, it seems as if a lemon is inevitable.

Aaaaah, I agree... creepy stories are the best! Where I'm from is considered the most haunted region of the country, so it'll be difficult picking a story to tell you! (Couldn't decide, so I went with two)

Well let's see...Oh!

There is a section of Route 44 that runs through Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Late one night a woman was driving along this road, when she saw a man with red hair wearing a plaid shirt walking down the side of the road. She thought nothing of it until he ran out in front of her car. She lost control of the wheel, but skidded to a stop along the side of the road. She began checking the area around her car and the edge of the forest lining the road, but found no one. She made to step into the forest, when she heard a cackle emanating from the woods along the road. She rushed to her car and sped off, only to die in an accident later that night. This was the first of many sightings of the phantom hitchhiker. Some nights he looks well-kept and others he looks dirty, but people always report seeing the hitchhiker on Route 44 with red hair and a plaid shirt, trying to hitch a ride.

Then there's the story of two sisters that were caught in a storm. They were driving down the road in a little town on Cape Cod, a place with a long history of fishing and whaling. It began to rain, causing extremely decreased visibility. The sister that was driving found herself losing control of the car. By this time, they had made it out past the town and on to an abandoned stretch of road.

They saw a large house up on a hill and decided to leave the car to go ask for help. They knocked on the door, but no one answered. Desperate to get out of the rain, they opened the door and went in. The house had been abandoned, but there was wood in the fireplace so they lit the fire and fell asleep in blankets they had in the car.
Later that night, the sisters awoke when they heard the front door open. They asked who was there, but there was no answer. A figure clothed in old sailors' garb, covered in seaweed and sopping wet, walked into the room and began warming himself by the fire.

The sisters watched in terror, but the man only stood there, until he simply disappeared. He left behind him nothing but a piece of seaweed and a puddle of salt water. There were no footprints.

The sisters were even more frightened and ran back out to the road. They managed to go back to the town, where they were told that the mansion had been owned by a wealthy family with one rebellious son. The father of the boy forced his son to go out to sea as a sailor, as a means of learning to be responsible and make his own way. The boy died at sea and the family moved out of the house because strange things kept happening there.

The seaweed was tested by investigators and was found to be a rare type of seaweed most commonly found on bodies pulled from the sea.

Okay, I'm going to stop there and make a reply to the rest of your post, because that sort of ran long

Wait. Masculine? Thanks, Wikipedia. -.- *irritation*

Yes, I noticed the make-up. I love it as well. I’ll have to try it later *is make-up artist… not just a creeper*

I love the rich, warm colors used in both the trailer and the picture. You get the feeling of the passion and aggression of the women. Meaaaaan ladies!! Get back! Get back, I say! *beats mean women away with a stick*

Oh, gosh! Now you've got me creeped! Now I'm telling myself that the Japanese are all just bad swimmers.... joking of course.

Oh wow, that's so interesting! So the ghosts just take the flavor? I guess that would make sense, a ghost being the essence of a person.

I really am creeped out by that story. It's so scary! I live in the New England region of the U.S., a very historic part, and we have a lot of ghost stories. I'll send you some if you like. I understand if you don't though. I think they're creepy!

Still, I couldn't help thinking, "Why have a resort in such a location?" Sorry, but I would be very... hesitant?

But even though I am thoroughly spookle-fied, I would very much like to hear any other stories you wish to tell.

I suppose the ceremony isn't easy for anybody, but it helps if you've lived your life with it as a given. Not once was there a choice or decision. It just is. Thinking back, I can't believe I did it myself! But pssssh, I'm sure you could if you had to.

The whorls were done with different things, some being thin wooden disks, woven wicker plates, and later, cardboard. Chongo is relatively easy, but it gives me a headache:| my hair is rather long, you see, so the weight of it all folded up can be a bit much. Darn you, thick hair!

I LOL'ed at your 'like DUH', but I understand what you're saying. Never saw the movie either. Wisteria is wayyyyy better, I just know it. And I heard that the man that wrote the book wasn't very accurate in his retelling, and actually destroyed the reputation of the woman that was kind enough to tell her story. It stinks that people can't be honest in their actions, instead going with what they feel will appeal to the masses and make them money.

Yeeeee, my love is back I must seem like I have no life, responding so quickly but I have this week off and I 'm writing a new chapter, so I've got time.

Oh, wow! I would love to hear more about the Hungry Ghosts’ Festival. It seems like it would be a nerve-wracking time! What, if I may ask, does one put out for offering? The thought of spirits returning seems pretty scary! We have times, such as the new moon, when the path to the afterlife is opened especially easily, so calling forth spirits takes nothing at all, really. So you go a whole month? What a long time to be living with spirits… *looks around nervously*

Yes, adulthood ceremony is an early thing. But of course, it’s adulthood by ancient standards when people lived shorter lives. It takes place at the beginning of puberty, or around a girl’s first moon time. Each person goes individually. First, I had to make the clothes I would wear on my journey. Then, after a sweat and a sunset to sunrise fasting and vigil, I was sent out into the forest with only a knife and my clothes. You do not eat when searching for a wyakin, and the only water you get is the water you can find. It is then your job to survive for no less than three days and find your wyakin, whether it be through vision or a physical encounter. After my return, I put on the dress of the Changing Woman and we celebrated around the fire. For the first half of the night, the one celebrated is not allowed to take part, only watch. This shows the restraint of a woman. Half-way to dawn, the one celebrated is allowed to join. After this night POOF! You’re a woman. Wootwoot.

I still need to look them up! Here’s a picture of squash-blossom whorls, found among Hopi and Pueblo peoples. I’ve always thought they looked funny. *giggle*:
http://www.native-languages.org/hair1.jpg
and you know whatserface from Pocahontas? Her friend there… Nokoma or something? Well, the way she wore her hair was completely not correct for the region she lived in. The style is called chongo:
http://www.native-languages.org/hair8.gif

I like the idea of the Chinese zodiac. And it seems so accurate! It’s obvious that you’re kind and intuitive, m’dear. I also like that they’re similar. It shows that a Chinese rabbit is no different from one here in North America! Consistant rabbits FTW!

As I said, finding your wyakin can either be through a vision or through a physical experience. Mine was a combination of both. You have to be in touch with Earth Mother to really know. And when you see your wyakin, you just kind of KNOW. You know?

I’m of the year of the dragon? SCORE. *swaggers* Well, I always was a pretty impressive sort… Thank you for telling me the traits! At least now I know what to try for.

Oh, those ladies look scary. They’re beautiful, but something in their eyes… *shiver* it’s like you can see the power struggle. And yes, the costumes are G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!!! I love them! Thank you for showing me! The theme song was beautiful too. Thank you for sharing!

Oh, darn it! I had a question to ask you... oh gosh. I think I wanted to ask if Chinese have any special Coming of Age ceremonies or things like a wyakin, that you find through self-discovery. Yeah! That's it Answer please!... even though that wasn't technically a question

But I love what I do, heehee.
