Eh, I heard the hainan chicken rice in Japan is super awesome and some people actually find it more delectable than what we have here in Singapore. Have you ever eaten chicken rice while staying in Japan?

Imagine having Jacky staring at you every time you want to wash your hair.. Freaky! HAHAHA~ Black is still considerably better than dark brown, right? A few years back, my mom bought this herbal shampoo that is supposedly good for preventing hair loss. The liquid was dark brown in color and it seriously looked like goop of mud! And it smells like herbs mixed with decomposing plants. (I may be exaggerating a lil' bit with the description but that thing REALLY smells!) I think it smells worse than Ba Wang!

Of course I remember Hong Dou. She's one of my favorite on-screen heroine. The theme song is also very nice.. "Zhou chu qu jiu you lu~" hahaha!

Hmmm... I will hunt for the ingredients if they are not available at the grocer, my love! Whether it be literally or online where-can-I-find-a-seller-oh-does-eBay-sound-legit-to-you? Errr, bison heart. Oh gosh. This is gonna sound so gross. Well, it tastes pretty much like regular meat, but it's all muscle tissue, making it rather tough. The, um, atrial dividers *shudder* and valves *more shudder* are a bit more tender, I suppose? I try not to think about it. In all honesty, bison is a very good meat, much better than regular cow health-wise. It's leaner and is usually raised in an organic environment. That doesn't mean I want to literally eat its heart out though. And yeah, it's something like that. It used to be that warriors would share the heart of a freshly-killed bison before the rest of the meat was cut and dried. It was sort of like taking a part of the spirit of the kill and giving it/the animal's characteristics a home at the same time as getting the nourishment of the reward for your valor and hard work. So at that point it's more of a spiritual thing, but... I didn't hunt it, I don't wanna eat it!

The thing about the dog meat just made me want to cry! That's horrible... I can't even explain how sick that makes me feel. And I would never imagine to describe shark fin as 'yummy'... It seems like it would be a rough texture. I certainly admire your restraint! I too love animals to a ridiculous degree and I think it's great that you give up such things for your beliefs. You totally earned major respect right there!

It also seems like the characters would be ones that would draw you in... the woman that shaved her head to protest her marriage sounds like a very strong figure! And you grew up watching these? LOL, I feel like a loser now. We watched Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Roseanne, the Cosby Show, Full House... Bananas in Pajamas... hehe, nothing quite so meaningful as that drama. That reminded me of one time at lecture hall when a boy that usually sat a few seats over to my left came and sat next to me. It was before the lecture started and several of my friends and myself were joking around and just generally being silly. After a while he got up and went back to his old seat. Once the lecture was over I asked him why he moved back. He said, "I've thought you were pretty cute for a while now, and I was going to make a move. Then once I got over there, I realized that you only seemed sane from my old seat." What a silly goose!

Yes, I do tend to diet, but more as a general way of living than for short spans of time... though I will go all intensive count-every-freaking-carb at times when I feel like I'm getting a bit... err... flabby? LOL. And I exercise A LOT. I run at least 3 miles every day and dance for at least a couple of hours. As far as recipes go... as we've said the natural and traditional type things tend to be best. I will sometimes make Wahuwapah Wasna (called "corn balls" in English) and eat them for several days with very little else. They are great for getting energy and they're rather healthy. And I also like to make dried pumpkin rings as a healthy snack and three sisters soup is very filling. As far as my family goes, I try not to tell them when I'm on a restricted diet. That's when the older folk decide it's time to make... errr, this might gross you out if you've never had such a thing before, but they like to make bison heart. Yeah, never quite had a taste for it. It's a traditional Teton recipe and very healthy, but it just sounds too scary for relaxed consumption. What are your favorite diet recipes?

Yes, I kid you not. It was hell, really! At the time, my house wasn't anywhere near an MRT station so I had to take a bus to CityHall to board the train. The most annoying thing is when I had to transfer from mrt to bus. Clementi station is always packed during peak hours. Once, I was late because a total number of 5 buses were too full to take anymore passengers. *grumbles grumbles*
