As far as native languages go, many seem rather clumsy to listen to at first, but after you hear it and speak it, you get the smooth flow. For example, my first language even before English is Ojibwe and it wasn't until I was about ten that someone told me it sounded garbled and clumsy. I see why it could now, but it just sounds natural to me.

LOL! I've no idea how they changed. It seems so strange doesn't it? My blue eyes were always tinged more greenish, so I suppose it must have been a gradual change? Thank you for thinking green is prettier, LOL. I prefer blue, but it would look very out-of-place for a native girl! Green is strange as well, but blue is unheard of. Hazels and browns are more often seen. And blonde hair is a no-no as well! My mother's relationship with the mail-carrier must have been questioned frequently. But the hair darkened and straightened out completely (we don't have a gene for curls, only waves and straight hair) so I'm happily average-appearing now! I'm jealous of your dark eyes! Darker eye colors are so pretty. So mysterious as well!

I'm so proud of your noble mind-set! Very refreshing in a world of shallow people. I know what you mean about being conscious of other people's views, but a lot of the time we exaggerate in our own minds about such things. The people that do feel that way about Asian women and white men are the more vocal ones, so you automatically assume people think in such a way. When in all honesty, most people just see a happy couple If you were to be a couple, that is. It seems that all people that date outside of their race get that, though I'm told it's a lot more widely accepted in America. I've a friend, just as Amerindian as myself, that dated an African man and ended up getting more negative feedback from her very traditional family than the rest of the world. It's very sad. I agree. I've never understood how people can enjoy such a waste of life. All life is beautiful and precious. By deciding to take the life of another, we are effectively saying that we have the right to play God, picking and choosing who lives and dies. If you really want to shoot things, why not go play paintball or something? And yes, I don't know what is worse. Though it really sickens me that people kill animals for things such as ivory for sale on the black market and then people buy the products. I guess that's worse because then not only do you have someone killing the animal for profit, you have another person justifying it through purchasing the item and creating the demand.

! I know! I can't believe some of the content in supposed "children's television." It's ridiculous. I once watched that show on Disney with the twins? Zack and something? The ones that somehow live in a hotel and never seem to go to school? Yeah. That one. Some of the things they said were pretty adult for a Disney show, or so I thought! History Channel certainly has gone down hill. But I love the Life After People show! It really is pretty interesting. It tells how long things would last without people around to maitain man-made structures. And they use pretty cool special effects to show it. Like I watched the Sydney Opera House tumble into the sea the other night. And they give facts such as how long aquariums could last on only back-up generators and they talked about what fish could survive. They even cited Hurricane Katrina and what happened in the aquariums in New Orleans when the city was evacuated. There was one about Christmas trees and stuff too, LOL. Just an awesome show.

No, I don't really watch Discovery Home and Health, though I do watch regular Discovery (Mythbusters FTW!) and HGTV. What shows do you watch on Discovery Home and Health?

Back in high school the only clothing I ever drew were Chinese robes! XD I became soooo fascinated with it that when my mom went on a business trip to China I asked her to find one for me XD sadly she didn't find any, but she did brought me a cheongsam, the same color as your primary pic's cheongsam XD. (it came in handy when I wore it for my Asian Civilization report about Chinese History XD).

Lol it's been so long that you've probably already forgotten you wrote, so MASSIVE apologies for the extremely late reply! But my exams are finally over and all I have on my plate for the next two weeks is a shortish essay and a programming project ^^;

On Bleach: what do you think of Ichigo's new look/powers? He sure seems to have powered up but I'm not sure I'm liking how mature and... depressed he looks. Though Gin seems to be holding on to his last shred of life (but he's not dead yet!! Yay~~) so hopefully Ichigo will be able to defeat, if not kill, ButterflAizen (lol MAgikarp coined this one). But knowing Kubo's latest streak of 'doing whatever the heck I want because it's my manga MUAHAHA' who knows what will happen Also, I love Gin/Rangiku too! Though it's more of a recent love than anything, mostly because of this gem of a manga that I found on pixiv. The art is beautiful and ja;skfj so amazing... I think you need a pixiv account to be able to see it though (and the doujin is only 5 pages and textless ^^; )

I know what you mean by "if he wasn't married, I'd have preferred him to be gay" cos I feel the EXACT SAME WAY. Beautiful men look good with other beautiful men, basic fujoshi mentality

I think she may have gotten better lately, that friend of mine. We haven't had an actual conversation since our blowout but she said hi to me the other day like nothing happened o__o I was kind of startled lol. I kind of wonder why kpop fans are so fanatic though, jpop works on sort of the same premise (though with less autotune) but the jpop fangirls while still fanatic, are nowhere near the level of craziness of kpop fangirls. This is of course a generalization, but I can't help but wonder why haha.
