Skye, the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem and taking responsibility for it.

Wow. Thats some pretty random yet awesome information. Makes be proud to be apart of Dokuga! I think Knifethrower deserves a banner... or a title...or something.

Seriously! I feel so bad for how few reviews I've submitted when I see someone that puts so much investment into our community.

I think we all feel a little bad when faced with the staggering number knifethrower has racked up. She's got some true dedication going. I see Skye has a banner up for her! Maybe on the next voting quarter you could have a category where authors can nominate reviewers for a best reviewer award...or something. Just a thought. They do so much for us afterall.

And I thought I'd logged onto Dokuga more than anyone else. Skye has me beat 10 ways to Sunday!

Gee I feel bad now because I'm just too darn lazy to review most of the time but if I read a really good story then I put in my two cents even though what i say is basically what all the other reviewers say because sometimes my mind goes blank and I'm not articulate with speaking so I having a problem communicating with other people (and that's the reason I'm such a loner and I don't seem to connect with some people even though it would seem like it coming from me. On the forms or on DeviantART I'm usually in a good mood and I talk to my online friends whenever I get the chance and sometimes I avoid them because I want time to myself and I just browse to kill boredom)

Though if I didn't have a problem articulating what I want to say then I'm sure my fingers would be aching from the many reviews that I would give to my favorite stories because I've read some amazing, dramatic, hilarious, and angsty stories but they are so well-written that I start to feel like they put my works to shame. When I look at my stories they sound kind of baby-ish compared to the more accomplished writers but I haven't been in school for a while which means no English class so that's why my speaking and writing skills suck >.<

I am so sorry for rambling and I know I got off topic so I'll just leave and be emo about my art and writing.....so umm....yeah XDDD BYE!

InuyoukaiLiz, we aren't all good with words. I couldn't draw my way out of a paper bag (though I don't know WHY I'd be in the bag to begin with), but I can talk. And I can sometimes help people with their writing. And when I read something really good,which I so often do on Dokuga, I want to share my enjoyment with the author. Kind of like saying thank you for taking the time to write and post this.

Now, and this is your Auntie speaking, do not compare your works to anyone else's. You can't do that because you are the worst judge of your own work. You sit there reading it over and all you see are your mistakes, real or imagined. You have your own style, a style that no one else can emulate, it is unique; and to compare that style to anyone else's is like comparing apples and sharks. You feelin' me, girl? You just do your best and you will have something to be proud of. Now, don't make me go Mother on you.

When you think back to just how much this site has grown over the past year, even not including the incorporation of Spark and it's authors/artists. Mind boggling.
