I'm new to the fandom and just recently started reading through the archives and even some of the older posts and recommendations. After reading a few, I've realized I tend to gear towards a certain genre, and might be a bit picky
. So now I need help looking for recommendations!
Need fic recommendations where:
- Sesshomaru and Kagome does not immediately fall in love with each other, love takes time and I find that the "love at first sight" thing is too unbelievable
- There is good character portrayal, both Sess and Kag are in character (Sess does not speak in third person and Kag is not a whiny little girl)
- It may take place after the final battle with Naraku and Kagome is either figuring out if she'll stay in the past/future, or the well seals up and she somehow finds Sess in her time. (I guess I'm looking for something similar to Tales from the House of the Moon, Convivial, The Once and Future Taiyoukai, Temporal Sequence, Blood Stained, and Fugue <-- these stories were amazing!)
- Sess is still demon, because power is sexy... and Kag is a bit older
- It will make me CRY and laugh, have romance and angst, I'm looking for something that will keep me hooked and draw out all sorts of emotions, (but something with a happy ending
)
- Writing style, grammar and spelling is a must (anything on par with RosieB or Resmiranda)
- Ratings: anything above T, although I prefer MA/NC-17/R
- Completed chapter stories that are 80,000+ words
