I was bored so I decided to go through the forum, it’s how I find interesting fanfics to read XD. Anyway, there are a few that sound interesting but unfortunately, has never been found. I’m bringing them back for round two, and hopefully with new eyes, some of you may recognize the fics. I haven’t read most / all the searches so I won’t be able to confirm whether or not a it’s the one.

1. Original Thread by kagome

Apparently, this story has actually been found, It’s called Brothers by AceOFDiamonds but I can’t seem to find the story / author.

i think it was called "brothers" or something. Here's what I remember: Naraku's new minion appears & uses a green emerald stone on the swords. The 2 swords get connected, forcing Inuyasha & sesshomaru to stay within a range of each other. So sesshomaru has no choice but to join the inutachi.

I think before this happened, they all get stuck in a cave together because of the rain. They (except sesshomaru & jaken) play "truth or dare". Miroku tells Rin to ask inuyasha where babies come from. Shippo dares inuyasha to tell sess that he loves him. Etc...

I think in ch9 or something, it starts with "sesshomaru is bored." The girls & rin are taking a bath. Sessh is bored so he tells jaken "rin forgot her soap" & tells him to take it to her. Jaken eagerly obeys & gets beaten up by the girls. Etc.
Then Kouga shows up & rin starts to scream & then kouga runs away. Etc.

I know Sesshoumaru and co joined the group in hunting shards. At a point in the story, Inuyasha screws up so Kagome starts to have feelings for Sesshoumaru. Actually, embarassingly enough there's one part in particular that I remember where Kagome seeks to show Sess the difference between female youkais and humans by going down on him...And i remember the reaction of Inuyasha afterwards as being jealous, but resigned...

i started reading it, and while it was very good, and was similar to wat i was looking for, it was not it.

in the fic i'm looking for, kagome knows about her inability to be killed, saying things like that she was born stillborn, and that the first time she fell down the well, she broke her neck.

I know I read this fanfic a long time ago, so it is definitely an older one. I remember that it was very well-written. The only detail I remember distinctly is that Sesshomaru loved Kagome, he wanted to keep her with him, but he did not offer to make her his mate. Someone (I don't know who) called him on it, and it turned out that the reason was very thought out and decent. Sesshomru's reasoning was that, if he made Kagome his mate, they would have a lot of enemies, who would try to kill her. Also, he felt that being the Lady of the West would not make her happy in any way, that she enjoyed being free and living in nature, not surrounded by a corrupt and Byzantine court. This reasoning made a big impact on me when I read it, but I just can't remember what fic it was in.

In the plot, Sesshoumaru start to spend more time with Kagome, coming to know her better. I can't remember exactly how that happens - if she joins his group / she gets kidnapped by him / he joins her group... So many fics!

Sesshoumaru begins to discover the details of many things in Kagome's life. For instance, the whole deal with the shared soul with Kikyo - he blames Inuyasha for it, thinking he betrayed Kagome when called Kikyo's name, putting the curse in effect. Then the deal about the well and she being from the future (don't remember if the well is closed, but I think it is). Sess thinks she losted a lot of her life, her family and friends on the future, all because of the quest for Naraku's demise.

Anyway, Sesshoumaru starts to admire Kagome's bravery and unselfishness more and more, and to overcome his prejudice against humans. And in a while, love ensues and he decides to mate her, promising himself make her happy, in payment for all the sacrifices she made.

In the final scene, Kagome reencounter her mother, 500 hundred years later. They talk a bit, and Kagome asks her mother to come outside of the shrine, where she meets a certain number of people. Kagome then introduces to her mother the "husband" Sesshoumaru, along wiht her children and grandchildren - the people waiting outside the shrine.

I'm looking for a fic in which Kagome can use her powers to create illusions and she and Sesshoumaru are in a (Town? Village?) and she pulls him into an alley and changes his hair to (Red?) and kisses him to trick the guards passing by so they won't pay attention to them but when she pulls away he pulls her back in for another kiss.

Inuyasha has left Kagome, and for several years Kagome has lived in the village, being the miko. She used to burn a candle every night in hope Inuyasha would come back. At some point she stopped doing that. However, Miroku notices that at times, Kagome lights a candle again.

One evening there's a candle burning again, and Miroku happens to pass by Kagome's hut when he sees Sesshomaru go in. Concerned for his friend, Miroku sneaks closer, peers in and gets an eyeful. In the end the monk is happy that Kagome has found someone to love again. (The candle is actually a sign for Sesshomaru to come over.)

I've been looking for a fic about Sesshoumaru and Kagome in the modern era. From what I can remember, the Shikon jewel was completed and Kagome went back to her time. Sesshoumaru sealed the well and he's been secretly looking out for Kagome in the future because he promised Inuyasha. Their paths cross once more and he falls in love with her. Then Kagome finds out that it was him who sealed the well and they have one big fight about it while they were at a restaurant with Shippo and Rin. Shippo and Rin are together in this story. Then, Sesshoumaru is heartbroken and left Japan. He gave the jewel to Kagome thinking she'd wish for Inuyasha back. Rin helps her follow him (to the US I think). Once she gets there, Sesshoumaru thought she was just some escort. She makes a wish on the jewel for Inuyasha and Kikyo to find peace.

In the story, Sesshoumaru was deeply attracted to Kagome, but Kagome, in all her innocence, found his desire for her sinful and wrong. He was persistent though, and she eventually develops feelings for him as well. But she still didn't feel comfortable being involved with him, for she felt horribly guilty about "sins of the flesh", so she convinced Sesshoumaru to come to confession with her. Though Kagome felt embarrassed about confessing her feelings for him, Sesshoumaru didn't feel any shame at all while confessing his desire for her. In fact, he told the guy they were confessing to about all the things he'd like to do to her (in very... precise detail). This, of course, left Kagome utterly mortified and the poor priest completely speechless.

Sesshoumaru finds a unconscious Kagome in a burned clearing (at least it looks like it was burned) takes her to his palace... when she wakes up she is blind and has amnesia...so he calls for a healer... (no one in the palace uses his name, they call him "young master", Rin and Jaten are in another buldinr...) anyway the doctor saiz that something happened that shattered her soul and she dose not want to remember for it would kill her.
so later she remembers Sesshoumaru and his mane... and she almost dies....but he finds her and she connects to him in a way and can rebuild her soul

If anyone is still looking, #6 is Promises by Landlady of the Universe. This scene takes place in Chapter 8. The story is rated T on FF.N, but might be M or MA here - it's been a while since I read it.
