What's fun on Dokuga? 13 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
I've lurked on here for a while thanks to a friend who introduced me to the site a few months back, but I only just made an account like... 15 minutes ago? LOL anyway.

What fun stuff have I been missing out on by not being a member? (Aside from the obvious posting of art and stories.)

Well, chat is a fun place to get together with other members and sometimes DDN (drabble drawbble night) or IDDN ( I think the I stands for impromptu... maybe) happen in chat and you can get a cool banner from participating.

In the forum, there are a lot of different challenges for writing and for drawing. Some give you a banner like DDN and IDDN. .... I really love the banners here. If you go to most everyone's profile you will find banners from challenges they have completed.

The forum also has a lot of forum games that are fun to play randomly.

And there is much more than that, but I can't seem to think of anything else. Hope it helps!

Start with fic reading. Then when you figure out your favorite authors and artists go to chat and ACTUALLY MEET THEM LIVE! O.O I freaked out when I saw forthy in the chat room.

Chat is a crazy place. If you don't like craziness...chat is not for you XD.

Looking through fanart is fun. Artists love feedback too **hint hint**

The forums have a lot of fun games you can check out too!

And of course, I encourage you to write and post your own stories! Enter in contests and challenges!

I second this! Although I haven't been quite as active as I would have liked, there's a lot of fun stuff. Chat turns up some pretty interesting conversations, and the forum games and discussions are often fun to participate in. The best part is that people here are really respectful (and if for whatever reason they're NOT, the admins make sure to rectify the situation). The Admins also lay down the law in a way that still makes you feel like they're your friends. Strong but gentle

It seems like this is a pretty friendly place to be! I tried to log into chat earlier, but I don't think I can do it on the library computers. (I've never been sadder that my personal laptop is no more!) Hopefully, when I scrounge up the cash, I can buy a computer and join in the fun!
