So, I don't know about any of you, but I've been kind of curious about whether there would be a live action version of Inuyasha, in any language, for a very long time. You can imagine how happy I was when one of the members on The Deadliest Sin forum linked a youtube trailer for a Chinese (2011) live action adaptation of the show, called Holy Pearl, seen here:
The site linked in the uploader's comments takes you to the page where you can watch all of the episodes (sadly, only 4 episodes are English subbed at this point, though I haven't checked other sites yet). I've watched the first couple of episodes so far, and it's actually pretty good. Mind, it is an adaptation, so the story's a bit different, but enjoyable nonetheless.
Edit: The episode info apparently wasn't updated recently--at least the first ten episodes are subbed. Yay!

Can't remember where I saw this at before, but I just knew it would make it's way to this site. I guess this is the new incarnation of the Chinese Copyright Legend, looks like a triple crossover almost of Inuyasha, DBZ, and Mortal Kombat. I kind of 50/50 on whether or not I should watch it or condemn it for the ripoff values.

Considering how bad adaptations can be (dragonball evolution, need I say more?) I think this one has turned out good, even if it does look like a clever way to get around copyright issues. But I think it's worth giving a try, if only because the actors are acting like real people instead of anime characters, and the costumes.
