Sorry I keep posting a bunch of threads, but I like this because then I get to know more about you guys!

So, as the subject says. This time my question is, what are your favorite TV shows(NO ANIME, CARTOONS ARE FINE.)

That's all I mainly like anything on TLC. The shows they have are very interesting. I also like to watch the medical shows(E.R mysteries and such shows), or the investigation shows they have on TLC. However, I am one of those people that when watching medical shows, I'm like 'Oh my gosh, what if I have that and I don't know about it?!?! I'm dying!!' lol so, I can't watch them that much.

So, what is everyone's favorite shows?

And btw these aren't all of the shows I watch/ed, but the ones I intend to get the series on DvD if possible and that I could watch over and over. For example, Gilmore Girls I have already watched the entire series 4 times, not counting the it's original airing.

Firefly - It's so so sad it never got past season 1 - it was one of my favs for sure.
Herculus/Xena - Until the last few seasons where they got stupid imo...but I'm a big fan of any scenes with the king of theives.
Star Trek - Next Generation - I didn't like any of the others compared to this one.

No, you rock! lol. It's been so long since I've seen Are You Being Served?, Keeping Up Appearances and Mock The Week that I totally forgot about them. (It's hard to keep up with British shows when one is no longer in Britain. XD) I also love Avatar: The Last Airbender and Super Mario Super Show. I used to have a few episodes of the latter on video that I would put on every night before I went to sleep (I was 9 or 10, I think). Seen them so many times that I had everything memorised. XD

Oh! I just thought of another show I love: Mr. Bean. lol. I better add that to the list.

I don't watch TV as often as when I was younger, but when I do, there are a few I look out for. Generally, you'll catch me watching profiles and specials on Discovery Channel or History Channel. I find science and history absolutely fascinating (it's no wonder why I wanted to be a scientist when I younger). The list also includes classics that I miss alot and wish I could more.

1. House M.D (recently addicted to this one :3)
2. TimeWarp (a recent show I started watching, but I love it! It's interesting to see how things work when you slow them down)
3. Mythbusters (I started watching this when it first aired and it's been a constant for me ever since)
4. Popeye (It was my favorite cartoon from when I was a baby! I knew how to sing the Spinach song from the time I could learn to speak!)
5. Tom & Jerry (I miss watching this every Saturday morning. Now, the only show it on Boomerang, which does not come with my family's cable package )
6. Invader Zim (Because this show was so awesomely filled with pigs, tuna, and multitudes of black comedy or comedy that makes light of serious and often taboo subject matter.)
7. Star Trek: The Original Series (Because.... just BECAUSE lol.)
8. Stargate: Universe (Almost forgot about this one. I became fond of this just recently, and persists to keep alive the geek in me )

Tom & Jerry is still on! On Cartoon network, usually on the weekends at noon time, it is on for about one or two hours.

I already listed regular shows, but other than anime, american cartoons:

Invader Zim - Doom doom doom dooom! Go home now! Grr is also one of my fav cartoon characters ever.
Gargoyles - So sad they discontinued this and they still haven't finished releasing it to DVD....
I know I'm old but it was awesome.
Animaniacs - not sure I spelled that right. Also older but excellent.
Freakizoid - Too much of a closet popular thing, was so funny.
Family Guy - It's funny sometimes, though sometimes I also don't like it...hard to turn off as nothing really is ever on tv anyway anymore.
Duck Tales - This makes me really old, but I adored this cartoon so much as a kid I have the first season on DVD now just so I can make my son watch it when he gets older.

All I can really think of. Most cartoons these days just aren't as funny as they used to be for me.

Duck Tales, Gargoyles, and Animaniacs were all great shows, Aura, and you just made me remember a couple of others that I liked, Pinky and the Brain and Hysteria!
