Has any one here been sucked in the amazing and wonderful world that is Mystic Messenger, a Korean Otome game? I had my doubts at first when seeing fans mentioning it on twitter. But finally my bff convinced me to play it, and holy cow, the game design and the romance stimulation is very good. The character interaction is multidimensional and the friendships the characters in the game share is beautiful and interesting. Every chat in the game is in real time, and the there is big puzzle and many secrets to solve as you try all the character's routes.

If anyone one is bored and is looking for something great and free to play, don't miss out on this best-otome-game-ever!

Oh! I was wondering when someone would mention the Otome games. XD. If you're after some good ones on the PC, for windows, especially, that are free for download. I can recommend a few. Most are available on Itchio.net, weird name I know, but not all are free there are some commercial ones too.

If you just want to check out a PC Otome game, which is partially voiced, free for download, and plays like a virtual comicbook. I recommend Autumn's Journey by AppleCider.

It's beautiful, especially for a free visual novel/otome game.

If you're after a commercial fully voiced in english game, I recommend Backstage Pass, or it's free equivalent, RE:Alistair, both by a developer Sakevisual.

BP is available on Steam, but it is expensive at around 25 to 30 dollars.

Note that the Otome games I've suggested are Indie games, developed using the freeware Renpy game engine.

All the games I've listed here are all G to PG. Nothing M, just some cuddles and smooching during romance routes for some NPCs.

I, too, played the Mystic Messenger. I restarted once, because I just wanted Jahee. XD Her story was absolutely wonderful. Yoosung was who the game kept trying to give me.

I had to stop playing though, as I found it too time consuming, if you didn't want to put a lot of money into it. So, I played till I completed her story. I did enjoy that it had a much deeper story than more mobile Otome games.

I do love a good Otome, like "Second Reproduction" (On that PG 13/Mature line I'm unsure about) and "Yo-Jin-Bo" (More towards the PG line).

I think I saw that one.
I'm still trying to unlock a special character by playing all the story lines and winning on one called Dandilion.
I think it might be by the same people.

Also highly sugguest contract marriage for mobile. I personally like the bar keeper story route

Also, "My Lover of Darkness Vampire Darling"
It's BL but I love the story and it's a challenge too get the good ending. But not horrible. But yeah the story line I just love it and it's Really in depth. Also the characters are not that flat. You play as a character that is part vampire. Give it a whirl.

Ahh I loved Mystic Messenger x I've played a fair number of Otome games so heres a few I would recommend:
Amnesia Memories - (Steam) It's usually expensive but if you look on its page when its a summer or winter sale you can get it for just 2.00£
Code Realize - (PS Vita) It has such a good story I have to recommend it even if few people own a Vita.
Nameless the one thing you must recall - (Steam) Again you have to pay for it.
Backstage Pass - (Steam)
Rose of Winter - (Steam) Not very expensive.
Hustle Cat - (Steam)
Seduce Me - (Steam) Free! (Rated PG13/mature kind of)
Seduce Me 2 - (Steam) Not very expensive. (" ")

Cute Demon Crashers - (On their website) Free (Rated 18 so no minors!)

Two Otome games that I would highly recommend you play on Itchio are "The Blind Griffin" created by Asphodel Quartet and "Heart Baked" created by GourmetVisual.Both of the games are rated T and are free to play.

The first one that I am sure most of you have heard of online is "Doki Doki Literature Club" which is rated Ma due to disturbing themes and imagery. It is a free game that you can download on Steam.
