P.S. Pardon my misspelling *chapel and my misuse of interchanging temples and shrines in the last bit! They are indeed different and temples are rarely used for weddings, mostly just funerals. Shrines are for weddings and "baptisms" (where babies are taken and regesterd at the local shrine)
So cute! You did a nice job describing the wedding, but just one little point:
in your note at the end, you said "...There are three changes however, though times have changed so that the bride can opt to choose western wear for her last change" actually now it is more like whatever and however many changes you want.
Shrine/Temple weddings usually wear the white kimono, then at the reception it is totally up to the bride what she wears, often changing into a white western wedding dress, then perhaps a colored kimono or another "ball gown" and however many other gowns after that, but sadly the kimono choosers are dwindling. There are also hair and flower changes with each dress.
There are "now" typically still 3 chages but usually at least 4.
Chaple weddings usally skip the kimonos all together and just use a plethora of ball gowns... but like I said it is now totally up to each bride and the package they choose with the wedding halls, and more than likely mother of the bride and grooms have a strong voice...
Also, temple weddings are also being ditched in favor of "Church" weddings, very trendy and making Shrine weddings seem like a rare treat!
Getting in on the wedding business here years ago would have made one very well off!

I think you have done a really nice job as to all research for this fic and striving to make it authentic. I applaud that.
That said, I find such extreme and judgemental reactions towards vegetarians very odd, given that the Japanese pretty much shunned meat until the Meiji restoration. Rice and vegetables (and seafood) have been staples of their diet for many long centuries.
Another thing that bugged me was few chapters back, with the whole camping in the living room thing. While it was cute, I think it is inconsistent for Kagome to be comfortable enough with Sess to actually share an apartment with him, but still be unable to sleep in the same bed with him. I don't understand the logic, since to me moving in together is a much more significant step than sharing a bed - especially when nothing more than sleeping is going to happen.
All in all this is a cute and light-hearted fic, well suited for bedtime reading. I like it. :)

This story is so sweet. I really like it. This chapter was a bit funny too. The menstrual cycle is such a taboo for men it seems. Though I really wonder why more women doesn't use a menstrual cup instead of pads or tampons since then you don't really have to think about having a stock of feminine supplies at home. But that's just me :P
