Ooooo what an interesting and delightful concept! Yes, most Japanese women prefer to have settled down before they turn 25 years old. Modern career women don't pay much attention to this, but the more traditional women do. It's why they strive to finish a university, get a job as an OL then attract a man and retire to care for their children as houseiwives. Quite a common approach to life, ne? Personally, I don't like to rely on others, so I'm not fond of it, but it is an intriguing concept and I'm always fascinated by other cultures and habits.
This has been a promising start. I like the added competition and I'm looking forward to reading more of it soon. :)
The only thing I can point out is that it's called an "Omiai".
Great story, keep it coming.
look forward for the next chapter!

Oooo this is really interesting, I don't think I read this type of matchmaking story without both being force to into it by magic, I can't wait for the next update. :)
This has got to be interesting. I assume Sesshoumaru is human in this one? Although I prefer him remaining youkai and Kagome being miko, it matters not. I enjoy the traditional Japanese matchmaker stories. I've never heard of the word being Oimai, but I don't remember what name I saw before. I do know that there are many different names for the same thing though. Got to love that language for being so confusing. (but I guess English isn't much different for them either, huh) I cannot wait for more. JEN
