Sesshoumaru's 'proper' method of carrying mikos - slung over shoulder! ***LOLOLOLOLOL***
First, I have some minor details I'd like to discuss... At some point during the fight, Sess thinks about the swords - quoting:
***he was pleased to know his father had not screwed him over and indeed left him a weapon just as, if not more, powerful as Tessaiga***
I always thought Bakusaiga was Sesshoumaru's own sword, created from his own body and demonic power, not a father heirloom. Bakusaiga is the proof Sess surpassed his father.
Some time later, Inukimi shows wonder because Kagome managed ***to deflect both of the attacks her deceased mate, the great Inutaisho, had created.***
She's refering to Kongosoha, but that's, again, not a legacy - Inuyasha got that technique when the sword absorbed Hosenki's power.
Those details only bother me because Bakusaiga and further Tessaiga enhancements shows Inuyasha and Sess aren't exclusively dependent of their father power, instead they struggled to improve on their own and were sucessfull. So, saying it's all a father legacy is robbing them of their personal growing and victories.
Going back to the story... Amazing chapter! I can see SessMom is plotting! Inuyasha behaved as the ultimate brat - I hope he realizes what he's doing. I don't think he'll let Kagome go easely, after all, Sango, Miroku et cia already tried to talk to him with no results. And I think it's more a matter of Kagome letting it go, after all, it's been six years! Come on, girl! Wake up!
Plus, I'd like to see some miko/Sess showdown... the demon lord is oh so happy and smug teasing his brother about a non-existent relashioship between him and the miko - he has some explaining to do! It's not nice to insinuate things about a lady!

He didn't kill her??? Not even punished her behavior??? And he's goading Inuyasha by making it looks like he's interested in Kagome??? *lol* Sesshoumaru, I think your unconscious mind is trying to tell you something...
As for Kagome... When a brat calls you a "dirty wench", you don't spend hours trying to understand/excuse his abusive behavior... Have some self-esteem, woman!
