I just finished chapter 22 and was completely bummed when I saw 23 wasn't up but, whenever I got back from running an errand, it was! Awesome!
KEEP GOING. I read tons, I mean TONS, off Sess x Kag and this is by far the best Sesshoumaru I've ever read. In all of the other stories the romance either happens way to fast and OOC or it is just complete abuse. I love how you've found a magnificent balance between the two and I cannot wait until you finish this story.
*SPOILER WARNING TO THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ CHAPTER 22*
However, I've got to be completely honest, I was very upset with the character death in 22 and I felt as though I wouldn't read it anymore after that. I almost felt as though Kagome got over Inuyasha far too quickly and seemed to hard and okay with the fact that she just buried her first love and a day earlier watched him die by the hands of the man who raped her.
That is my only complaint however and what is really keeping me into your story is the wonderful portrayal of Sesshoumaru. Please keep going and I cannot wait to finish it!

Woe, this seems almost a little to easy. If I were Kagome I would ask for her and the family to leave the country. Go in hiding. But with Sesshoumaru out there, where could ya go? Great chapter.
Wow, that one had me tearing up....and I bet she DID see amber eyes. Her mark didn't dissapear, so I think Sesshomaru is still alive. I love to see where you take this!
Wow! A tear jerker and a drama moment cliffy at the end. *_* I teared up again whenb she said goodbye to Rin. I thought it was going to work for a moment. SO wait can he use IY sword to help seal his blood then?

Your story is unbelievably addicting. I really didn't think I would comment yet since I was genuinely enthralled at the pace and the dynamics you were setting. But after that chapter, I couldn't hold back. There have been others mentioning the pace so I would like to say that it seems necessary. We only know certain facts and it seems that they too aren't complete. There's quite a few layers to this and apparently will not have any clear cut turning point. The stress upon Kagome's life seems unbearble to read at times because it's heartwrenching and it seems neverending. But it makes readers feel more hopeful that she will have some happiness. So much has just happened and there's no telling what will occur next. (Very good cliffhanger, btw) Even through their forced and awkward interactions, their common goal of "freedom" has turn tides and has actually brought them closer. Granted the disdain for one another is still evident, yet with all the events that have taken place it is still a major turning point. I noticed even moreso that Kagome slightly distinguished the two Sesshomaru, leaving the monster title strictly to his beast and Sesshie just plain heartless. That's a step up, right? lol
I feel for InuYasha though. You could only imagine what he was thinking watching her pained expression as she ran towards him powerless to do anything. His end felt a bit trivial, yet necessary at the same time. Without her by his side to subdue his wrecklesness (if you could call it that), it was bound to happen.
And the kiss?!! DOUBLE TAKE!! Yeahhh...don't think that went unnoticed!! I'm sure there's an interesting answer to that one, and I'm looking forward to the patented cold & emotionless Sesshie reply! lol Or perhaps something else..?

Woe, when you deal angst, you do not jest at all. Bring it on....Kagome is gotta sooner or later open up a can of whoop ass and go bad on these people messing with her. Great chapter!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Did Kagome make it to her own time!?! AHHHHH...you just had to leave his at that MAJOR cliffhanger didn't you? LOL! Well, in this case I really hope she did. I mean after all she's been through she deserves some happiness with her family, her child and most of all herself. I just hope that she doesn't wake up in the feudal era only to realize that the beast is there watching her, condemning her only to punish her in the end. Thank you for this great chapter.
