Thank you for your review on "Heavy In Your Arms". I'm glad you enjoyed the plot! You were right in your guess. It was Shippo's mistake in the future that eventually pushed Kagome into Sesshoumaru's arms. As for what caused his obsession, I would say it was more like Oedipus complex mixed with feelings of abandonment when she fell for Sesshoumaru in this case. He does view her as a maternal figure - even if they are not that far apart in years - and I thought he would made for an interesting stalker.
