Currently working on another fic and getting it Beta'd by l'-'jj.  My plunnie is trying to hide for the last arc, but we won't allow it.  Hopefully, it will be done soon.

Hey! Thanks for checking out the beginning of Ever the Lotus. I agree with you about canon - I prefer to write in the canon universe - I rarely write a true A/U - although Ebony Eyes, I have to say, while A/U, is probably my most favorite short story that I've done. It just came out so perfect on the very first write, only taking about half an hour to write. Still... canon universe is my fav, and I find I get a thrill out of trying to write sess/kag while still incorporating parts of the manga. Having to change things while trying to keep it minimal is a challenge!

I'm glad you liked the first part...

How to explain, you ask? LOL! You can use the same words I did with my kids. "Mommy's reading something VERY funny on the internet. It's tall talk, though. You won't understand until you're as TALL as ME!" (I'm not sure if it worked or not, though... Either it did or my kids figured I was going crazy.) ~LC
