That's right, it's that time of year again; in fact I'm actually late hehe. You can offically start signing up for this year and here's how: read the rules and copy and paste this and send it to the email at the bottom of the post; without the spaces of course.

For those that maybe new to Dokuga or just the exchange and have no idea what I am talking about, basically the Dokuga Holiday Exchange is a yearly secret Santa type deal where we exchange stories and fanart around Christmas. It was created by the lovely Momodesu a few years ago and I am happy to announce that we will be co-running it this year .

The rules are pretty straight forward so make sure you read them before signing up. And remember, if you are a first timer make sure you send a link with a story, chaptered or one-shot but no drabble collections, with over 1500 words in your email.

Edit: By the way, we are still set for the due date of September 30th like we were last year, if we need more time we can always extend it since we were the ones late getting this up, but we do want to try and keep everything else on track .

Side note: We are looking for someone willing to do a fanart for the participation banner. Jupe-chan was kind enough to do it for us last year and I feel the Exchange should get it's own artwork to thank all of those that sign up and participate. So if you would be willing to do so, please let me know via message so we can keep it a secret until the banners are given out .

I've read the rules and the good prompt bad prompt and I think I understand. But I did get a bit confused, are we signing up now for later? and I didn't see a conformation code also I was a bit confused, in the rules it said that you had to send an example of a long writing to prove you can meet the word limit, but what if you don't have a long chapter but you have a chapter meeting the limit but plus the second chapter equaling the longness.

Am I making any kind of sense in my question?

I think I understand ...Sign ups are going on now through Sept 30, the drawing is done on the first of Oct. Yes you send a link in your email to a story over 1,500 words, excluding drabble collections, but it doesn't not have to be a 1,500 + chapter, just story as a whole. Hopefully things will make more sense now .

There is a code word buried in the rules to make sure you read them in full. It doesn't stand out.

Can I email in a story as a gift to everyone without participating in the exchange? Just... send it in anonymously? I can't guarantee I'll be able to, but I'd like the option to be open if my daughter lets me have the time and I can quit running random fevers. My brain gets addled when my temperature goes up. Never know what I'll say or volunteer for. BTW, I'm running a fever right now.
