Do not know if this has been done before, but "Invincible" by Muse just SCREAMS Sess/Kag to me. I had my music on random right after I finished HotM for the second time, then that song came on. IMO it was perfect! What's yours??

I think a lot of H.I.M's songs fit kagome and sesshy

like "The Face of God", "Play Dead", "Under the Rose", and "Heartache Every Moment" plus more

I have yet to find the perfect song for Sess and Kags ... I have a few songs that makes me think of the pairing - Everytime We Touch by Casacada or Alien Like You by The Pigott Brothers or How Can I Not Love You by Joy Hernandez... --- Yet none of them inspires me enough to write a song fic.

Then again, I do have the perfect song for Rin and Sess - Kiss from a Rose by Seal

I also have this song for Kags and Inuysha - Don't Hold Me Down - Kayle

And I also have the perfect song for Inuyasha and Kikyo - Painted on My Heart - The Cult

Lol I don't have any songs for any one else pairing wise except for Sessh and Kagome. But for a father dughter type of song for Sessh and Rin i see "Zoe Jane" by Staind

For Kagome (about Sesshoumaru), certainly "When You Say Nothing At All" by Alison Krauss. And maybe "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith for Sesshoumaru (about Kagome).

Face Down isnt quite accurate but the sense of challenge is there.

I never paid too much attention to the lyrics of that song...but reading the bit you just wrote there actually makes me wonder if Eminem is a Sess/Kag fan, LMAO!

I always thought a great somg for the pairing was "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence. The lyrics always make me think it would be perfect for Sesshou to sing to Kagome:

Some day I would LOVE to actually put together a songfic where every chapter has a single song to go with it...and I wold totally use both of those.

O.O I've been listening to some of my fav muscicians this morning, and the one song that stuck out the most, that works for me with Sesshy and Kags starting a tentative attraction for each other that fits is probably Ruby Turner's 'The Story of a Man and a Woman', with our two fav Inu-chars gradually falling in love. I know it's super-fluffy, but fluffiness is AWESOME!

And probably the two others I can think of would be Tina Turner's 'What's Love Got to Do with It', and 'Simply the Best'.

Sheryl Crow's 'Light in Your Eyes' fits the pair in my mind too. Oh and one other, 'Good Love' by TLC.

I always loved Bring Me To Life and I didn't realize how much the lyrics match up with Sesshomaru and Kagome.
