They had better put the parts where Sesshomaru meets his mother and the whole traveling through hell, Rin's death.....again, and resurrection by Sesshomaru's mother. I also want to see the part where Sesshomaru's arms randomly pops out and he gets Bakusaiga.

Seriously, wtf....the arm part was so random I was like WTF and I fell out of my chair laughing my head off becuase it so wierd and random (although I was happy he got his arm back but come on...at least he could've his arm back in another way)

i too am absolutely thrilled about this news! i'm trying to read the manga but i keep jumping around cus i get really bored and only want to read the Sess part lol.

i've never actually listened to the English version of Sess, as i think i've got a mental block about that. the same guy who plays his voice also played the voice of Soun Tendo in Ranma 1/2.... just the thought of that kinda freaks me out, and i'm not entirely sure i wanna risk it. call me a scaredey-cat!

The manga is very hard to follow.

Aw, only 26 episodes? How on earth are they going to cram all the material from the manga, even without the fillers, into so small quantity episodes?

Who knows? Maybe they will throw in a movie to tie everything together. Wouldn't that be nice.

Actually, I was thinking that maybe *crosses fingers* they are only spewing out 26 episodes for now, just so see if the fandom is still alive. Mayhap the producers don't want to spend all their money taking the risk of making the entire continuation from Ep. 167 when the fandom isn't as alive as it used to be.

They have to come out with more than just 26 episodes. As previously stated, there's a lot to cram into that number of episodes. Still, I can't wait for Inuyasha to continue.

I'll take anything I can get. It would be awesome if they came out with another movie, though, as well as the regular episodes. I would be so happy!

I asked my friend how in the world they are going to stuff all that manga content into 26 episodes and she replied that instead of Naraku always playing Houdini, they could just kill him and he stays DEAD.

It was announced during their New York Anime Festival panel earlier today. Anime News Network reported the same. That means we have less than a week to wait. Almost here. The anticipation is killing me.

That is so cool. I can't wait. They always save the best for last on the NYAF's last day.

The simulcast will be on the net, not cable. According to animenewsnetwork(dot)com, the two sites that will be streaming it are:

shonensunday(dot)com/anime and hula(dot)com.

I haven't checked these sites out yet, but probably will sometime later this week.

The best bet would be to go to hulu.com. It is supposed to be aired on October 3rd around 8PM but I don't know which time zone. hulu.com also has the old episodes you can watch. I have a feeling that my eyes are going to be very sore come October 3rd.

Little bit behind here , does anyone know if they casted the original voice actors and if it will be in english? David Kaye had better be Sesshou!!!!! And I can only see it on hulu.com?

The simulcast will be subbed. Not enough time to dub if they do it same day as the Japanese broadcast. Although I'm pretty sure that Viz will dub before releasing to DVD. All of the original Japanese cast is back, but Viz has not released any info on a dub or who will voice it if there is one. I'm hoping for the original English cast myself.

Oooo, I knew there was a reason I loved Hulu! I can't wait.
