What is DDN?
Drabble/Drawble Nights take place in Dokuga’s chat once every month. During this event writers and artists meet and participate in a friendly challenge. A prompt will be given every 30 minutes (or every 20 minutes), writers will work and tame their plots to fit into 100-words drabbles while artists will work their pencils at god-like speed in order to make a quick drawing in response to the prompt given. The ten prompts will be clues for the night’s theme and part of the fun of DDN is guessing this theme.
A few details to consider:
- All post in chat must be Rated T. Remember we have Dokugans of all ages in chat.
- Everyone must be respectful to each other at all times.
- You can post your drabble in chat, or a link if you are updating your story. Artists usually post a link (it can be from Dokuga, Photobucket, DA or your site of preference).
- Guesses at the theme are not to be voiced out in chat, but in private message to me. This is so we don’t spoil other’s fun. I am awful at guessing themes… but I do try every time :] Let’s give everyone that chance.
- All will receive a participation banner, to make our profiles colorful, at the end of the night. You don’t have to do all prompts to snatch the banner, doing one is enough. If you couldn’t make it to chat, but do the prompts the next day… you can still get the banner. You just need to participate, and have fun!
