just recently ive noticed im not getting ne story updates from dokuga. am i the only one?

No, I also don't get new story or oneshot notification of favorite authors. I only get an update if they add a chapter to the story. I wonder how many have this problem and if there is a fix.

That's been happening with me too. For a long time now actually. I only receive email alerts for the second chapter and all chapters after that. So there's probably a few one shots I never heard about...

Liza, the reason you're not getting any updates is that your email is bouncing back to our server. You may have changed emails since you joined, there is a problem with the email that we have on record, or your site emails are getting sent to your spam folder.

I would suggest that you Private Message me with a current email address so that we might change it in our system - and I feel certain that you will then receive your alerts.

PS - for the other two, however, I can find no reason in our system why you would not be receiving alerts. Perhaps you could check your spam folders (I know, I know, an elementary suggestion, but still) and make sure that the address noreply@dokuga.com is added to your address book. Please PM me if you still experience problems.

I do get updates for updated stories but not for new ones or one-shots. For instance for forthright's story Lord Charming I didn't get an alert when she first loaded the first chapter. But when she added the other chapters I got an alert.

My email excepts all emails from the noreply@dokuga.com and I have always had this problem. It would be nice to find out what is causing this glitch.

I actually didn't change my email, and it did work before.
I changed it now. Maybe it will help.

I recently changed my email, and now I'm not getting alerts. They're not going to my junk folder, either.

Have you changed the email address in your profile as well?
If you did, when did you make the change? It might take a little while.
