This was a story posted on fanfiction.net/ a single spark a long time ago. I cannot remember the name or the author but what I do remember are little bits of the story.

Sesshomaru is "mates with kagome." only after taking her because it was to save their lives from an attack. he takes her to his castle and trains her and there is a solider or friend that ends up catching her on the stairs that sesshomaru attacks for.other parts include where he takes her on a ride to the rabbit/deer kingdom and he gives her a fluffy coat then they do... some things on the dragon lol.
he takes her to the rabbit or deer kingdom and almost rapes (due to jealousy over some wise all knowing crane demon or something) her but stops, the other parts I remember are that he would bring her back to inuyasha to look for jewel shards, and inuyasha thinking he would win back her love tries to make a move on her, sesshomaru feels through their bond that she has betrayed it and goes and kicks ass. then takes her back to the castle and tried to force her. Once he is aware of how scared she is he stops, then she goes ro him out in a garden and tells him to make it right/ do it the right way and they become true mates while the solider/friend guy listens .

Dear lords I cant seem to find this fanfic anywhere or even remember the name to start.
I do remember it was pretty long.

Sesshomaru and kagome are held captured for quite some time by an evil guy, kagome ends up getting raped by an ogre guys and sesshomaru helps here through everything in the dungeon. they eventually get out and stay together. Its been a while so I cant remember the details.

First sounds really interesting and the second sounds familiar. Within the last two years familiar. I'll start seeing if I can find the second one.
