ok so im writing the story breedables and i cant deside if i want her to be a crane or a grey dove or some other try of bird... what type do you think she would be?

doves are symbols of peace and the holy spirit in many cultures

personally i think kikyo should be a peacock or mocking bird

i can understand why not a dove but in the anime everyone but a few thought she was peacful kind and good... even inu yasha thought she was the est... she is a mikomix so im thinking oh i dont know what im thinking somthing gracful and with like a hidden charm

maybe a spotted dove?

I kind of like crane - doves are more...soft - Kikyo was a very strong miko and hard-edged, since she had to be, to protect the jewel

What about a nightingale?

I think it shows a different way of looking at her. She has a dark side and nightingales (at least the males) sing at night (as far as i know) but they are also more or less well thought of.

Then again this is just a suggestion. I should probably look up nightingales better.

She should be a swan. Swans are protective and nurturing towards their mate and offspring and aggressive to a terrifying level to anything they perceive as a threat. They also mate for life.

I'm gonna toss my two cents in.

An owl.

The reasoning:
Owls have a rep as being wise, and mikos need to carry great knowledge (as they travel, help, heal, etc).
Owls are generally quiet (but not always), and Kikyo is as well.
When observed, owls seem to take their time, watching things with a slow steady grace, not making sudden movements. This gives the impression of deep thought, until it is time to act. Kikyo usually is shown sitting and staring off into the distance, deep in thought, but can move swiftly when it is time to strike.

This is just my opinion, nothing more.

ok these are great idea's i think i know what im going to do ill mix too of them, she will be a owlgale i like those two the best she is stand offish quite ut she very pretty as well she will have the males colorings from the gale <3 and cute little owl ears ok no more spoilers ^!~
