I can't remember if this was AU or CU, because it sort of involved the CU but took place in modern times...Anyway, Kagome lives in an apartment complex and finds a kitten. She finds the owner, who happens to be Rin, who's Sesshoumaru's daughter. Some time progresses, involving much sexual tension and situations with our favorite miko and daiyoukai. They both keep having flashbacks from when they were mated, but neither really remember it. As it turns out, Inuyasha was seriously pissed about Kagome and Sesshoumaru's mating that he cursed them or something. Then he felt bad about it and wished on the jewel that she could be happy, and have both her feudal family and her modern family. The repercussion was that pretty much everyone forgot about everything. S-esshoumaru eventually finds out and threatens Inuyasha, and Mrs. H tells Kagome about it and she remembers. The ending is a happy one.
