I haven't had time to read all the wonderful work posted here yet, but while I was checking some settings I clicked on this story and ended up reading the entire chapter and loving it. ElegantPaws has a very rich storytelling style, and it reads beautifully.

I second that recommendation. I appreciate the elegance of her writing voice, as well as the refined dialogue.

Chapter Two, "Green Tea" is up.

I like to think of everything EP writes as 'word poetry'. It's like an orgasmic feast for my imagination. I can't wait to get into this one I third this recommendation whole-heartedly!

The attention for detail is great. The preparation and ceremony is described extremely accurately, which I'm a big fan of!

I get the impression that a lot of hard work is going into this story, and I shall continue to be an avid reader. :thumbs up: XP

I have to agree with Jenn here.

I remember a while back I stumbled upon 'This Sesshomaru Needs Not a Mate' and I was worthless for the following 12 hours. I couldn't stop reading. The Art of Tea from what I've read looks like it'll be wonderful as well.

There are a lot of people in this fandom that write really well, but there are really only a handful that write that beautifully. Reading The Art of Tea is like a departure from whatever I'm doing to the world she's painting.

I've been inspired enough to refresh my memory and am going to a chaji this weekend. So, thank you.

I enjoy all of her stories. Merry Christmas Mr. Tashio has to be my favorite, despite it's relatively short nature in comparison to all the others. In that one, her natural voice really started to come out and drew me in.

Cause MCMT and those that follow are my natural voice lol...well spotted...AU allows you to go beyond the social restrictions imposed by sex and time period and the modern vernacular is fun cause...it appeals to the more ascerbic side of my nature and allows the characters, at least for me, more freedom of movement, spiritually, culturally, and otherwise.

Anyway, gone back to the game and I will try not to spoil it this time...yes, technically proficient as always ...I messed up the order. So gone to be a good EP.
