I am having a hard time coming up with idea's on what I should write about... I feel like I have exhausted myself on topics and would like some more insight. Anything will be welcome.

I cannot guarantee that I will write a story for all recommended topics, but if I take fancy to one I will try to write a good story for you! Thank you

Have you tried checking out the Challenges section of the forum? Not only are there several challenges and prompts to tickle your imagination, there is also a thread called Borrowed Muse, where people post story ideas up for adoption.

I think the Challenges section would be a good place to start looking for new story ideas.

I actually just went through them earlier today and just didn't see something that tickled my fancy. lol.

I may go look again... But I just can't seem to find something that seems refreshing to me.

I really wish I could be of more help, but frankly I've never been in a situation where I wouldn't have any idea what to write, so I don't really know what would be a great cure. ^^;

Do you have any inkling as to what kind of a story you would want to write? Like canon or AU? Oneshot, drabble collection or Chapter story? What kind of a genre?

A chapter story preferably. And I work best with alternate timeliness...

It's alright. I am just afraid. Of writing the same story time and time again. I was hoping for something a little out of my usual comfort. Zone.

Stepping out of a comfort zone is a good experience.

As for writing the same story over again... Originality does not stem from the idea you use, or the setting of the story or even the plot. After all, there are only so many ideas in this world, so many ways of bringing Sesshoumaru and Kagome together, it is safe to say that there are patterns repeating all over the place.
How to make it original is taking that old and used cliché and giving it a spin from a completely new angle. It's in the viewpoint of the story, in how you want to tell it. You can take the same basic idea and write two completely different stories.

I've always wanted to write original stories, too, haven't wanted to repeat the same old things... And my two most recent chapter stories both have a basic idea that has already been done before, by someone else. At first I was discouraged by this. Almost gave up on the story in the very beginning, until I realised that the story I wanted to write was worlds' apart from the story that had already been done with the same idea.

So don't let fear hold you back from writing the story you want to tell. :3
