Can someone find any fics where SessMom plays a major part?

1. She has to be good, not evil/particularly TOO bitchy (but she can be a LITTLE bitchy).

2. I'd like if it is Canon (or Post Canon), if not then set in the fuedal era.

theres a fic on dokuga right now by Chie called Chain of Love (incomplete, still updates regularly) where she plays a big part in. I will look through stories (i dont know as much as most) for more though

I was planning on writing a few just like that. But haven't started them and wont for a while.

Also Forthy's current story Lord Charming has a really cool Shessy's mom in it. She seems devious but in a playful way. She is also portrayed pretty nicely in Windows on The West by Kanna37.

Weeeeelll~ SessMom might be a bit on the bitchy side on Chain... *cough* Or at least appear to be. She isn't really all that mean, though. It's that she puts her duty before anything else. That, and she's a tad bit on the arrogant side.
But yes, she plays an important role in Chain and will be featured again starting from next chapter on...

To SongBird - Dang I have the perfect fic for you. Its this fic where Kagome travels with Sesshomaru and starts to like him then, and they get along, then she jumps into the well after Naraku was defeated only to be sent further back into the past. She meet younger Sess, SessMom and InuPapa, and in it SessMom is actually likeable (though still...erm...cunning.) and in love with InuPapa. It's complete and really good but for the life of me i can't remember what it's called! I'll try to hunt it down - I really liked it.

"Chain of Love" is a good one, though I will have to say that I like "Like Mother Like Son" better. It's in present times, and Kagome is working for Sesshomaru's mother, who is a big-shot fashion designer. I love it - you should check it out!

I'm about to put up the first chapter (today or within a few days) of a story that might fit your criteria. Sesshoumaru's mom is the instigator of much of the storyline. And if she comes off as 'witchy' it's either protectiveness or hurt feelings. I haven't named the story yet, but it will must likely be my next one up. If you read it I hope you like it.




Edit: It is now up, it is called, Characters of the Hand. Here's the summary, Rated T just in case, I may never get that high. Set in before canon universe and during, sort of. Sesshoumaru's mother is a seer and has a vision that sets Sesshoumaru on a road to gain more knowledge, from the only thing that can give it, a human. (drabbled story)
