Be warned that the subject matter of the story can be very mature and difficult for people with trauma. There is some graphic descriptions of medical procedures, gore, torture, PTSD, suicidal ideation and death. This may not be a story for you if you’re put off by the idea of Sesshoumaru being vulnerable and not as unflappable as you’re used to. He tries to be his usual stoic self, but that mask slips a lot.
