Well it could be although I'd urge you to try a more original concept, since anything Fifty Shade's like has been written about alot.
Base-wise though it's the relationship between the characters that matters more than the BDSM-stuff. You really need to focus on the fine-line between trust, respect, and consent if you write about something like this.
It's a fine-line between the three because something that seems consentual at first can easily become abuse if one character for example ignores the right of the other to choose. Or influences them unduly via coercion or bullying or manipulation. Than it becomes a decision based or made under unfair duress, thus abuse of trust, lack of respect, and forcing consent.
