Summerbirdy´s and Dreamcatcher´s Drabble December 2012

Happy Holiday season our friends!!!

As you all already know are we Holiday persons through and through. So this year once more we want to share our sentiments with you dear Dokugans and so me and imotou-chan challenge you all to a new Drabble December!

This is a count down to Christmas, so you can participate in one of the following ways:

1. You write a drabble for each day between December 1st and 25th. (12 of them have to be done till 26th, the rest till the deadline.)


2. You write a drabble for each day between December 12th and 25th. (6 of them have to be done till 26th, the rest till the deadline.)

Depending on how you participate, you are given a banner made by me, Dreamcatcher. Also I will try to give you a small token for each prompt.

And here are rest of the rules.

1. You are given a list of 26 prompts. You can use any prompt in any day, but each prompt only once. There is no order, you can choose when and which prompt to use for each drabble. (As you will only need max. 25 of them you may use the 26th for a bonus chapter or just let it be.)


2. Each drabble must be between 100-400 words.


3. Each drabble must be Christmas related.


4. Keep your rating between K to T. So everyone can read your "calendars".


5. Write continuing or individuals, CU or AU. As long as it's Christmassy and features our favorite couple.


6. HAVE FUN!

There are deadlines for participating each range. This because we want you guys to have fun and enjoy this, but also to treat this as a countdown. Deadlines are following:

• 1st to 25th deadline is 7th December


• 12th to 25th deadline is 19th December

Finally, all posts should be done by 6th of January, Epiphany.

Hello! Just a quick question- does this mean I can do one drabble every day (1st to 25th)? Also, is it okay if I start late cause I just read this thread?

Yes, we'd like to treat this challenge as an Advent Calendar before Christmas Day, hence the 1st to 25th. (or maybe 12 gifts, from 12th to 25th ) You can post one drabble each day or write and post when you have time. As long as there's one drabble per one day and as long as your finished on latest 6th January.

And yes, for the 1st to 25th challenge you have time until 7th December to start and post your first drabble.

Okey dokey. I can't believe I'm doing this, but I am participating even though my plate is pretty full. But hey! I do better under stress!

From what I understand, you may still participate in the second challenge. As stated above, you must post an entry by Dec. 19th to participate in the 12th to 25th time range. I believe you'll only be able to do half of the prompts though. If I'm incorrect, either Dreamcatcher or Summerbirdy will probably provide more clarification.

I would completely do half the challenge if that is that case

Just like Aviel said, you can still participate on the shorter challenge. Just make sure to post first drabble by the 19th. You can use 12+1 prompt from the list, any of them. +1 because we have 26 prompts in there and everyone else can use the extra too.

If you wish to write more than 12+1, you can, but you can only claim the banner and tokens for the shorter challenge, when Dream gets them done. This of course applies to everyone who still wish to participate the challenge.

I am so sorry, that there is no banner till now, of course there will be one this year again. But real life caught up with me and while it was at it it decided tokill my comp on it's way. I prmise to make the banner as quickly as possible and post them.
