Akay’s Bi-weekly To Deviate Challenge

Ok, so I never really hosted a challenge before, but I thought that this would be fun and interesting. The purpose of this challenge is to deviate away from Sesshoumaru being a successful, ruthless, rich businessman. I think it’s time to throw some curveballs and make him something that… you normally may not. So let’s have fun with this.

Your entry can be:
• Drabble (100 – 500 word count)
• Oneshot
• Multi-chapter
• Crack-fic
• Fan-Art

The choice is yours!! With the exception of Drabble word count is completely up to you. I never want to leave out the artists of the fandom since they’re so awesome so these challenges are open to you all as well.

When you are finished with your entry you can post your link here and grab your Participation Token (I’m no banner extraordinaire, but I hope you guys like them).

Also this challenge is held bi-weekly and even with that being said, that doesn’t mean there’s a time frame on these. You can always participate in any of them at any time. It’s completely open. You can use the prompt as his actual job or just utilize the word/phrase in some way (if the latter is the route you choose please make his career something other than a businessman)

There may also be some that is strictly GM and if/when that is the case then you must be 18+ to participate in that particular challenge. If you go against this rule then the moderators will not tolerate it and will deal with it accordingly as they see fit.

Bonus: I am open to hearing occupation ideas that you all may have, and if it’s not already on my list I will put it out there. So if you have anything in mind then PM (private message) me (do NOT post it in the thread) and tell me what it is.

To Deviate Challenge: NEWS

Well it’s come down to not many people participating with this challenge so I decided to pretty much stop issuing out prompts every other week. Instead it’s a free-for-all. This is going to be a dump of prompt/tokens and you, the writer, can choose when/where/and how you want to use these prompts.

Note:
The prompts are still careers that you can try Sesshoumaru out in, or just use the words in general. As the whole purpose of this challenge was to make Sesshoumaru something other than a businessman – I sincerely hope that requirement remains the same.

Also remember to mark your story as GM/MA if that is the route you’re going.

I'm so sorry I haven't been participating! I've been trying to get ideas for the other prompts, and I have the beginnings of them, but not enough to get something flowing. I really do like this idea, though. I fully intend to do all the ones that are posted individually. I'll definitely try the dump after that if I can make the other 3 in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks again for issuing this challenge, Akay!

Did I mention I like a lot of the prompts? I'm so stoked for this. I'll try really hard to get ideas. I'll send my muses to boot camp or something!
