Kagome is able to reach him through his dreams or something like that...
Kagome and Sesshomaru first see each other through a digital screen... I think he allows the Rin pod to escape after she requests him to do so. He disobeys orders for the first time....
Can remember many other things...
I think it was written by someone who had a military background...not sure again.
Seriously, who wrote it and where has the story hidden itself???
