Its set in modern times.
Sesshoumaru breaks up with Kagome because he though she was cheating on him because of a lie or rumor started by I think it was Naraku. Hes a wealthy bussiness guy. Its been several years since I've read it so i dont really remember the details.

I can think of a couple of fics where Sesshoumaru breaks up with Kagome because of rumors/lies.

Was this a universe where the characters were human and Kouga and Kagura were involved also?
