Okay I can honestly say it's been a long while since I read the story but here's what I remember: Kagome travels further back in time, so far in fact that instead of landing in a well she lands in a river. She saves a kidnapped child Sesshoumaru from human bandits and takes him home. She helps out in the time before entering an enchanted sleep that turns her into a demon. When she wakes up she leads the demon population (the ones that will follow her anyways) through the "holy wars" and trade with other countries allowing demons to exist in the modern world. Any information would be appreciated cause I have been yearning to read this for literally months!

I've read a very similar one, but in that one she saved Toga as a child. The lord of the West at the time was Sugimi, Sess's grandfather. Sesshoumaru is the one who woke her up after years. If it's the same, let me know and I'll search my bookmarks for the title.

I've read one with this plot, too! I think I still have in my web history! Let me look! If it is, I'll post a link to the one I read to let you see if it is!!

Oh please do! It's been driving me crazy!! I've been looking on all the older sites since I know for a fact I read it when I was back in high school but I haven't been able to find it yet.
