Hello everyone!

I am in need of some assistance in locating a fic I read sometime ago. I can't even remember the author's name which usually sticks to me. I've been reading a lot lately so perhaps my brain has reached its gigabite limit.

Anyway, here is what the fic was about:

Kagome is a genius-prodigy type of child who begins to take care of her family who has been blaming each other for their dire financial situation. She begins by selling her paintings and then proceeds to investing in the stock markets and giving her somewhat whacky family a very comfortable life without their knowledge of where the $$ comes from. She is friends with Sango and Inuyasha whom she had a crush on until he announce his engagement to Kikyo (did I spell that right?). Sango keeps her secret about her genius but is forced to divulge Kagome's secret when Rin, Inuyasha's sister is kidnapped. The FBI or CIA, forget which, can't make headway so that is when Sango asks Kagome to break a code sent by the kidnappers. Inu no Tashio then realizes Kagome will be forever in danger so assigns Sesshomaru to guard her.

I hope that is enough of a clue to perhaps enlist someones help. I could go on about the fic but that reminds me of why I wish to read it yet again.
