I am looking for a fic where Kagome is injured really bad in the fuedal era and Inuyasha get Sesshomaru, who knows how to perform surgery, to heal her. I think at one point Kagome asks someone to put her out of her misery because the pain was so bad.

Any help is appreciated.

In What the Darkness Brings by I Agree, Kagome's back is injured when she jumps into the well, not knowing that Naraku had sealed it. The story is rated M.
