Im pretty sure it was a Sesshomaru&Kagome fanfic but it could have been InuKag... I havent read it in years.
Its about Kagome slipping away from a ball and goes to her room and cuts her own hair and wears dirty shaggy clothes to disguise herself as a boy and slips out the window of her home then later that night gets a job working on a ship and Sesshomaru is the capitan.
I dont remember much because its been so long..hopefully it'll trigger something
