The beta testing was for a series of really high-end games, and Kagome was a big gamer. Her mom was also a really big otaku along with Kagome; I remember the first few scenes being mom and daughter geeking out over maid outfits, I think. Something like that; probably in Akihabara.

I recall that it was a story about Kagome being hired on as a beta-tester for someone in the IY-verse... Sesshoumaru tried to scare her off through IM as he was already a beta tester, but with really high standards. Kagome met his boss while at a cosplay cafe with her mother, I think?

And what made me remember this at all is that Kagome had a moment of shock when Sesshoumaru "out-pi'd" her, meaning he could quote more digits of pi from memory than she could - which was one of her criteria for finding a guy to date.

Also, it was unfinished, iirc.
