Okay, guys, the story I'm looking for is not a Sess/Kag fic. But maybe someone can help me find it anyways? Kagome goes off with Kouga. He brings her along on a hunt, and she witnesses his pack bring down a deer. The blood and gore really traumatize her (she apparently prefers not to know where her food actually comes from, and InuYasha is courteous enough to present her with meat that comes in grocery wrappings), and it gets worse when Kouga saves the bloody heart for her. The story goes on in this vein, the gist being that a human girl should really not get with a wolf demon. I read this story a while ago, and it has to have been on ff.net, media miner, or aff.net. Does it ring a bell with anyone?
