I was reading a newer story today that involved a matchmaker and it reminded me of an old story that I would like to find. I am not sure if it was ever finished.

It is an AU story. I believe in the beginning Kagome does not know youkai are real or that she has powers. She is living somewhere outside of Japan and meets a guy and falls in love. She has no idea that the guy is Youkai and that his family wants him to marry her for her power (I think they need mikos to keep up the glamours that they use in the human world). Anyway the guy dies and Kagome returns home, emotionally crushed.

Her family pretty much force her to go to a matchmaker after she refuses to snap out of her depression. She meets with potential hubby Sesshomaru and his family and starts to be able to see their markings and they realize she is a miko so they want Sesshomaru to marry her.

In the mean time the family of the guy that she was in love with;still want her and the guy has a really mean twin brother.

Anyone remember this story?

Probably one of my favorite stories. I really hope the author comes back to finish one day.
