Hi All,

I’m trying to find this fic where Sess and Kags end up mating in court (pretty roughly) and proves to the court that they are suited to each other.
That’s all I can really remember sadly
But if it helps there’s some commentary from the court about how powerful the mating is

It sounds more like the It’s in The Blood by sarhea. A very good read. It's rated MA, so no YIMs

I can't recall the name of the story, so maybe someone else can help provide it or the link, but if those are not the stories you are seeking, perhaps it is this one. Of course it's MA and not for YIMs.

Summary- It is set in the Feudal era and Kagome is set to mate Sess. They are having the formal ceremony, and they invite Kikyo and InuYasha. InuYasha is claiming that Kagome still loves him and is only taking Sess as her mate because she loves Inu and can't have him but Sess looks like him. Kagome getting tired of him not listening to her tells Sess to reinstate the public mating portion of the ceremony that he had removed for her modestly. Indeed they mate and she of course yells out Sess's name, and Inuyasha finally shuts up.

This may or may not have the same scene - where Kikyo goes to a witch to get a hair pin cursed and has InuYasha give it to her. Kagome and Miroku take care of the evil, and Kagome wears it - telling everyone when Kikyo questions where she got it from it was a relic the InuTaisho gave his mate/mistress and was happy to receive it.
